ChildhoodChildhood Walt Disney born to Elias Disney an Irish-Canadian, and his mother,

Flora Call Disney, who was German-American. In 1906, when Walt was four, His family moved to a farm in Marceline, Missouri. While in Marceline, Disney discovered his love for drawing. One of their neighbors, a retired doctor called "Doc" Sherwood, paid him to draw pictures of his horse, Rupert. He also found his love for trains there. In Topeka and Santa Fe Railway which ran through there town. Walt would put his ear to the tracks in anticipation of the coming train. The Disneys remained in Marceline for four years before moving to Kansas City in 1911. After, Walt and his sister Ruth Disney attended the Benton Grammar School where Walt met Walter Pfeiffer. The Pfeiffers were in theatre, and introduced Walt to the world of acting and motion pictures. Soon, Walt was spending more time at the Pfeiffers' than at home.

Disney was one of the best-known motion picture producers in the world. He had fifty-nine Academy Award nominations and won twenty-six Oscars. Walt also won seven Emmy Awards. He is the namesake for Disneyland and the Walt Disney World Resort Hotel and theme parks in the United States, Japan, France, and China.

wife, Lilly having a miscarriage. When Lilly Disney became pregnant again, she gave birth to a daughter, Diane Marie Disney, born December 18, 1933. Little years later, the Disney’s adopted Sharon Mae Disney on born December 21, 1934 as their second child.

Disney was cryonically frozen, and his frozen corpse was stored underneath the Pirates of the Caribbean ride in Disneyland. The first known instance of cryonic freezing of a corpse occurred a month later, in January 1967.

Disney had formed his own music publishing division back in 1949. In 1956, inspired by the huge success of the television theme song. The Ballad of Davy Crockett, he created a company-owned record production and distribution entity called Disneyland Records.

Death Death In late 1966 Walt was scheduled for a neck surgery. On

November 2, 1966, during pre-surgery X-rays, doctors at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center discovered that Disney (for many years a chain smoker) had a huge tumor on his left lung. A week later, Disney went back to hospital for surgery, but the tumor had spread to such great extent that doctors had to remove his whole left lung. The doctors then told Walt that he only had six months or year to live. On November 30, 1966, Disney collapsed in his home, but was revived by paramedics, and was taken to hospital, where he died on December 15, 1966 at 9:30 a.m.
