Next year this hall, along with many others on East Campus will be either torn down or renovated, so they can building a new geothermal heating and cooling system for that part of campus. This is one of the recycling dumpsters that is found outside every residential and dining hall, and almost every academic building. This particular one is found behind Farmer and their presence helps promote the act of recycling among both the student body and Miami’s employees. As a Miami employee, I always make sure that I recycle the necessary waste.

Yet another one of Miami’s contributions to the environment, every dining hall is equipped with 100% recycled napkins. These efforts made by Miami are doing a great deal to help the campus’ impact on the environment.
