The Role of a Platinum Ambassador:
A Platinum Ambassador accomplishes at least 6 standard
monthly assignments during the Ambassador year
A Platinum Ambassador participates in at least four bonus
activities in addition to their monthly activities in a given
Ambassador year
A Platinum Ambassador fundraises, give or get, at least $1,000 for
the Arthritis Foundation during the Ambassador year
Platinum Ambassador Assembly
March 12-13
• Our 2017 Platinum Ambassadors will be honored with a full scholarship to the Platinum Ambassador Assembly.
• The Assembly will be similar to a traditional Advocacy Summit but will feature highly advanced trainings for our most highly engaged members of our grassroots network.
• There will be three tracks at the Platinum Ambassador Assembly this year.– TRACK ONE: Platinum Ambassador Track
– TRACK TWO: Future Platinum Ambassador Track
– TRACK THREE: Junior Ambassador Track

Interested in Becoming a 2018 Platinum Ambassador?If you are interested in becoming a 2018 Platinum Ambassador,
have attended a Summit in the past, and would like to attend
the Platinum Ambassador Assembly, here is an exciting
opportunity for you!
Future Platinum Ambassador Track:
• Designed with you in mind, our Future Platinum Ambassador
track at the Platinum Ambassador Assembly will provide
attendees with the tools and resources they will need to
become a 2018 Platinum Ambassador!
• This program requires attendees to sign a commitment form,
that outlines their commitment them to completing the
Platinum Ambassador assignments for 2018.
• This track is not eligible for scholarship. Any money an
attendee spends on travel would contribute to the fundraising
goal of $1,000 for 2018.
A Future Platinum Ambassadors commits to:Accomplishing at least 6 standard monthly assignments during
the Ambassador year
Participating in at least four bonus activities in addition to their
monthly activities in a given Ambassador year
Fundraising, give or get, at least $1,000 for the Arthritis Foundation
during the Ambassador year
Completing a special, personal long-term advocacy activity with
guidance from the Arthritis Foundation staff

Summit in the past or that have completed their Advocacy
Certification as an ASN leader.*

• If you have a local event in your area, start a team!
Volunteer at the Advocacy Booth. Recruit new
Advocates to our program!
• If you live in an area without a Jingle Bell Run, feel
free to:
1. Jingle in Your Jammies: Join a team to Jingle
Remotely
2. Recruit neighbors to your team to help you raise
awareness for arthritis. Encourage them to sign
up as an Ambassador!
