Presentation Preparation
You need to:• Organize your materials (posters,
laptops, sound systems, binder, box, …)• Plan the look of your presentation• Look organized• Test any media • Be set up and ready to go at least 5
minutes early (media already tested, materials already organized…)
First Impressions count• Dress• Smile• Eye contact• Greeting and thanks to the panellists• Handshake?• Enthusiasm and confidence• Address panellists by name (they will
wear name-tags!)• Use professional language

• Talk about your journey up to now• What has made you the person you are today?
(your passions, your focus…)
2 Where are you now?• Talk about your present goals, values, plans,
learning, aspirations…• Who are you? What defines you as a person?
What are you most proud of?
3 Where are you going?• Connect your GTP to your future• Where are you going in life?
Lasting Impressions• Closure is as important as your
opening– Summary, final words of wisdom,
the journey continues beyond today
• Thank the panellists• Celebrate! The PAC will have
some treats for you in the Den.

you are?

• There will be a debriefing session at the end of your Presentation (approx. 5 minutes)

• Grade 11 students will be observing
