Its a hot topic that we will be discussingabout.. So, did you heard of the newtechnology like "Sixth Sense Technology"? ifnot then i should explain it to you about

about it. We are very familiar with the term"Six Sense"... then can you tell me what arethe six sense..?? Actually, six sense includethe eye, ear, nose, tongue, body, and mindand we humans are totally depend on it.

The Technology of which i am here to discuss iskind of the functions related to the eye, ear,nose, tongue, body, and mind. Till now we wereusing computers by just sitting in front of ourcomputer and in the use of few senses. But now

after the introduction of the "Sixth SenseTechnology", a computer can sense any sorts offeelings it gets in its surroundings..

It can feel when we move ours fingers, it can see

when we ask it, it can read, it can detect the tasteof the product, it can remember whatever itwatches, it can show your invisible watch andmany more..

The SixthSense prototype comprises a pocket projector, a mirrorand a camera contained in a pendant like, wearable device.

Both the projector and the camera are connected to a mobilecomputing device in the users pocket. The projector projects visualinformation enabling surfaces, walls and physical objects around usto be used as interfaces, while the camera recognizes and tracksusers' hand gestures and physical objects using computer-visionbased techniques.

The software program processes the video stream data captured bythe camera and tracks the locations of the colored markers (visualtracking fiducials) at the tips of the users fingers.

SixthSense supports multi-touch and multi-user interaction.

It demonstrate the usefulness, viability andflexibility of the system.

The map application lets the user navigate a map

displayed on a nearby surface using hand gestures,similar to gestures supported by Multi-Touchbased systems, letting the user zoom in, zoom outor pan using intuitive hand movements.

The drawing application lets the user draw on anysurface by tracking the fingertip movements of theusers index finger.

SixthSense also recognizes users freehand gestures(postures). For example, the SixthSense system implementsa gestural camera that takes photos of the scene the user is

looking at by detecting the framing gesture.

SixthSense also lets the user draw icons or symbols in the airusing the movement of the index finger and recognizes thosesymbols as interaction instructions. For example, drawing amagnifying glass symbol takes the user to the mapapplication or drawing an @ symbol lets the user check hismail.

The SixthSense system also augments physical objects theuser is interacting with by projecting more information aboutthese objects projected on them. For example, a newspapercan show live video news or dynamic information can be

provided on a regular piece of paper.

The gesture of drawing a circle on the users wrist projects ananalog watch.
