Introduction of company

• The company Came into existence in 1984 with a purpose of manufacturing high quality plastic injection moulds. The have been manufacture plastic injection mould up to 1300-ton capacity. Moulded parts are supplied to various Automobiles, household and home- appliance industries

DIFFERENT PARTS OF MOULD

• A mould is basically a component that contains two different assembled parts. These are punch assembly and cavity assembly.

• In Injection Moulding MachineThe Cavity is fixed to the fixed platen of the machine

• The core is fixed to the moving platen of the machine

• P-20 :-used for core and cavity• EN-36:-used for guide pin,guide

bush etc• OHNS:-used for inserts, finger pin

etc• MS:-used for locating ring, cam

rod.• COPPER:-used for electrode

CAVITY ASSEMBLY

• Locating ring provides proper alignment to the nozzle and sprue bush

• Sprue bush is the channel between the nozzle and runner

• This cavity plate contains runner which carries the material and gate which is restriction in the runner

MOLD INSERTS

• MOLD INSERTS • The punch and cavity are actually

inserts which are inserted in metal block .

• This causes it to be economical and the insert can be changed when damaged .

• Generally the inserts are made of hard material and the block made of cheaper material . Also hardening can be easily done of insert .

• The Bolster plates are housing for these inserts.

• Venting is necessary because While injecting the melt, the air from the mould is required to be escape

DRAFT ANGLE

• The purpose of draft is to first provide release from the core side of the mold

BOLTING

• There is different size of bolts used in a mould to assemble different parts. The bolts used in most application in a mould are Allen bolts.
