Dr. Harry Castle

With more than 40 years experience, Harry Castle, DDS is uniquely qualified to provide comprehensive dental services for the entire family. As the first dentist in Louisiana-and the only dentist in Lake Charles-to be accredited by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), Dr. Castle joins a prestigious group of just over 300 dentists to receive this distinction.To earn the accreditation, Dr. Castle completed nearly 400 hours of specialized training and perfected five separate, cosmetically enhanced smile techniques. The training process, which was finally reviewed by a national panel of dentists who were already accredited in the AACD, took nearly three years to complete.While the AACD has more than 4,000 members from around the world, it is not uncommon for the organization to accredit only a handful of dentists each year.As a result of his orthodontic study, Dr. Castle has developed Insta Smile , an orthodontic technique to straighten teeth within three to six months. Ideally suited for adults, the Insta Smile technique can also be used in conjunction with a teeth-whitening application.

Dr. Castle is a graduate of Lake Charles High School and Loyola University's School of Dentistry in New Orleans. He also attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, where he studied business administration, and McNeese State University, where he completed his pre-dental courses.

Following graduation from dental school, Dr. Castle served as a captain in the United States Army Dental Corps, where he cared for Vietnam-era soldiers, doctors and nurses at Modigan General Hospital in Tacoma, Washington. Upon his return to Lake Charles in 1970, he opened a private practice in family dentistry. His practice has grown and expanded every year. His newest office, Oak Park Dental South, opened in January 2002.

Dr. Castle is a member of the American Dental Association, Louisiana Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Orthodontic Society, and International Association of Orthodontics.

Dr. James McGee

Specializing in prevention and treatment services for patients of all ages, James McGee, DDS has practiced family dentistry for more than 30 years. A healthy smile and freedom from oral disease are Dr. McGee's immediate goals for you-and your children.

Dr. McGee also provides distinctive services for adults and children with special dental needs. He has the surgical expertise to perform extractions, including wisdom teeth, gum line contouring and root canals.

Following extensive post-graduate study at the Geneva Dental School, Dr. McGee is also uniquely qualified to improve results for those patients who have lost most or all of their teeth.

A native of Lake Charles, Dr. McGee graduated from McNeese State University, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. During a tour of duty in the Air Force, where he was stationed at England Air Force Base in Louisiana, he began his pre-dental courses at Louisiana College in Pineville. Upon his discharge he completed his pre-dental study at McNeese State University in Lake Charles. He graduated from the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in New Orleans. Dr. McGee joined Oak Park Dental in 1999.

He is a member of the Louisiana Dental Association, American Dental Association, American Orthodonic Society and Lake Charles Rotary Club. He is also a Paul Harris Fellow, which is the distinction bestowed for making significant contributes to the Rotary International Foundation.

Dr. Michael Hebert

Dr. Michael Hebert joined Oak Park Dental in 2005. He provides orthodontic treatment and education for both adult and adolescent patients.

A Lake Charles native, Dr. Hebert graduated from McNeese and received his dental degree from Loyola University School of Dentistry. He then went on to receive his Master of Science in Orthodontics from St. Louis University.

Before joining Oak Park Dental, Dr. Hebert practiced in Colorado for 23 years.

While in Colorado, Dr. Hebert received many honors, including being named president of the Aurora Health Unit, Constituent of Metro Denver Dental Society.

Dr. Lon Latiolais

Dr. Lon Latiolais is a graduate of McNeese State University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Technology with a minor in Chemistry and Biology. He earned his D.D.S. from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in 1998. He then completed a General Practice Residency program at Olin E. Teague Veterans Hospital in Temple, Texas. In 1999, Dr. Latiolais opened his first practice in St. Martinville, Louisiana. Dr. Latiolais furthered his education at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, and in 2004, he obtained a Masters of Business Administration. In 2006, he decided to move to Georgetown, Texas, and open the doors of a new practice, Georgetown Dental. In 2012, Dr. Latiolais returned to Southwest Louisiana and is currently an Associate Dentist at Oak Park Dental.

Dr. Latiolais has received special training in the placement and restoration of dental implants and is also licensed in oral sedation. He is considered to be very proficient in wisdom teeth removal, root canal therapy, and full mouth extraction and rehabilitation. Dr. Latiolais is dedicated to a lifetime of continuing education and the evolution of dental technologies. Dr. Latiolais has developed five dental instruments with patents currently pending, one method claim involving a new dental implant procedure, and one Trade Mark on a new dental procedure. He believes the advances in dental technology are important and he strives to aid in its constant growth.

Oak Park Dental is enthusiastic to have him as part of their team, and they believe his addition is a perfect match with their state-of-the-art dental office. Dr. Latiolais’ friendly, confident nature is a vital part in what makes him an amazing team player with an important ability of adapting to any given situation.

During Dr. Latiolais free time, he enjoys traveling and absorbing the uniqueness the cultures of our world offer. He has participated in a mission trip at the Navajo Indian Reservation in Ganado, Arizona, as well as a Dental mission trip to West Africa Country of Senegal. Through these experiences he has been fortunate to combine his career with his personal passion for traveling and giving back.

Dr. Cecilia Oubre

Dr. Cecilia Oubre is a graduate of Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She earned her D.D.S from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in 2009. Following graduation, she began practicing in New Orleans, Louisiana, where she received extensive dental experience in primarily pediatric dentistry. This experience guided her in discovering her passion for working with children and informing them about oral hygiene. In the beginning of 2012, Dr. Oubre joined the Oak Park Dental team as an Associate Dentist.  

Because of her determination to excel during her time at Emory University, Dr. Oubre earned her place on the Dean’s List as well as a proud member of Phi Beta Kappa. Her dedication followed her to LSU School of Dentistry where she became the Vice President of her Senior Class and the President of C. Edmund Kells Honorary Society. All of this hard work and involvement created a strong, passionate work ethic in Dr. Oubre. She is devoted to not only constantly continuing her education but also aiding in the growth of children’s understanding of oral hygiene importance.

Dr. Oubre’s enthusiasm and love for dentistry and the well-being of her patients is a big factor of what makes her an important part of the Oak Park Dental team. Oak Park Dental is fortunate to gain Dr. Oubre as a compassionate, young professional who is eager to continually meet her patients’ individual needs.  

During free time, Dr. Oubre enjoy playing traveling and experiencing the different parts of the world. Dr. Oubre also finds happiness in reading intriguing new books.  

Dr. Oubre is the proud member of the American Dental Association, Louisiana Dental Association, and the Southwest Louisiana Dental Society
