I am here because I love teaching. I

came to formal teaching later in life,

but have always had a passion for

education, whether I am the student -- I

am always a student -- or the instructor.

I am excited about the possibilities

of online and distance learning. One

area that I am fascinated with is

digital ethnography – the study the

effect of new media on human

interaction.

I am here because I believe that

learning and interacting feeds our

souls.
