Methodist College of Engineering and Technology is hosting "National Level Technical Symposium” on 25th and 26th February 2014 for which we would like to invite you to be part of our National Level Symposium -forstefiesta’14. 

We are looking for organizations to help us make this event truly special and we shall assure the audience how important the contribution from our sponsors is.

3About the symposium:

We are expecting about 3000 students to attend the symposium and I would also like to add that the symposium will be covered by print and electronic media. Students from about 400 colleges are expected to attend the symposium. Advertisement on social networking sites. Logo of the sponsors will be present On the souvenirs which will be given to all the participants.

4Placards:

Bring out the artist in you and design the poster that is both informative and catchy to eye.

Complete the best in presenting your worth in this exiting event

5Pro-e-mania:

Show off your skills in utilizing the system in designing .

Model the given component on the system sticking to the specifications with some generous improvisation of your own.

6IC workshop:

Gain new insight into the world of engine .

Demonstration given by experts with a vast experience in this field.

7Ignite a minute:

Think to your feet and make full use of limited time in speaking about a topic which will be disclosed on the spot in this scorcher of an event.

8Treasure hunt:

Follows series of clues and race against opponents .

Work in team and finally decode the final hint to win this thriller.

9Tag the model:

Tag the model is about naming the various mechanical devices ,components of various instruments . The model will be displayed on projector screen and you need to key out the component.

10Robotics:

Robo Race:The sprint event, a short distance race ( 9 Meters). The objective of this task is to test the ability of the robot to move in a straight direction in the shortest time possible. 

Monster Race:The event is an endurance race with no time limit. The objective is to run the robot in all directions with Good Grip over the All Terrain Track. 

Robo Challenge:This station challenge your brain. The objective of the check the maze solving ability of the robot operator in the possible quickest time.

Line Follower:This Even challenges the maximum speed at which your Robot can walk and the ability to maintain its directional Stability on a Black and White Colour Track. 

Robo Soccer:The robot must move from one end of the playing field to the other as quickly as possible. The robot must navigate to the Goal and score the points. The Goal will be setup with an obstacle.
