How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary texts?

• My trailer, poster and magazine cover are from the horror genre and I wanted it to look similar.

Poster• From my poster analysis I saw that the main

character is shown in the middle of the poster so the main focus is on them. I wanted to use a black background so it will allow the audience to question where she is being dragged to.

Magazine cover

• From my magazine analysis I saw similar to the poster analysis the main character is shown in the center. However in my magazine cover the face is covered of the actress so it goes against the convention of a magazine cover.

Trailer• I took an image from my trailer which is meant

to be an important scene from the film where the main protagonist is seen being dragged by a supernatural force. This image is used in both my poster and magazine cover.
