Hydrocarbon Recovery Process
ANTECEDENTS
• Colombia's Constitution assigns to the State, like all people, the obligation to protect and conserve the natural resources of the Nation (1991).
• Law 99 states that measures to protect, conserve and restore the environment are joint task between the State, private sector, community and non-governmental organizations (1993).
Hydrocarbon Recovery Process
CURRENT SITUATION
• The Companies related with the processes of Environmental Remediation Liabilities have bid on one supplier of Waste Processing Plants oiling Nationwide.
• Manifest of interest in most of the companies participating in the negotiation process with the operators of the region, to evaluate alternative sources of supply of equipment for the treatment of DHE's.
• There are Metallurgical Garages in the country - with a high standard to manufacture equipment for the Oil Industry.

PROJECT JUSTIFICATION
• Opportunity to make Treatment Units in the Country as an Independent Business sanitation projects of environmental liabilities.
• Opportunity to market a raw commodity in the Country
• Opportunity to offer an integral service (Manufacture, Installation, Startup and Operation, Maintenance and Technical assistance).
• Making a plant in the country that meets the standard of engineering, adapted to local operational requirements and offering an immediate response.
Hydrocarbon Recovery Process
ENGINEERING PROCESS
DESIGN BASES AND CONSIDERATIONS
• Nominal capacity of the process: 1,000 Bbls / day.• Founded by proven technology based on the use of
centrifugal separation processes with heat transfer and chemical conditioning.
• Consists of one (1) horizontal centrifuge and three (3) vertical centrifugal.
• Process Plant area configured in two (2) independent Skids.
• With autonomy in providing industrial services.• Easy transportation to remote sites (modular type)• Strict implementation of standards, codes,
engineering standards and safety.

PLAN DE TRABAJO
Hydrocarbon Recovery Process
CONCLUSIONS
•Phoenix CentrifugePhoenix Centrifuge has the appropriate infrastructure and market potential to produce processing plants of Waste Emulsified Hydrocarbon (DHE) fulfilling the engineering and safety standards.
•Manufacturing costs in the country are competitive with the current option and with international suppliers.
•This opens the opportunity to enter a new business with international projection.
•Making treatment unit in the country can arrange it in the shortest time possible, without costs and with local inspection nationalization
•For the manufacture of a second treatment unit, the manufacturing costs are estimated to be 20% less
•In the short term, build the unit to serve as a model for the marketing of the potential market in the country.
•Have the infrastructure and resources to comprehensive media available on the service offered.
