BOGOTÁ CITY Bogota is the capital of Colombia, la Sabana de Bogotá is bordered by a mountain chain
that is part of the Eastern Cordillera. The hills that serve as a framework for the city determined its initial urban growth south to north, parallel to the mountain of the mountains which form part of the capital guardianship, Guadalupe and Monserrate. On top of the latter is the church dedicated to the Lord of Monserrate which can be reached on foot by an ancient stone path, by funicular or cable car, and is a pleasant walk from the top of the mountain includes the most spectacular panoramic of capital. The western boundary of the city is the Bogotá River, the south, the foothills of Sumapaz, and to the north Bogotá extends over the Savannah.
CLIMATE
The Savannah has an average temperature of 14 ° C, which can range between 9 and 22 º C. The dry and rainy seasons alternate throughout the year, the driest months are December, January, February and March.
CITY OF MEDELLÍN Also known as "The City of Eternal Spring", is the capital of the department of
Antioquia, located in the northwest of the country, in the Central Cordillera. It is considered by many to be the second largest city in the country after Bogotá, having a large and dynamic business based primarily in the industrial production of liqueurs, textiles and flowers, coffee export and import business has allowed a great economic development and urban. Throughout the year celebrates festivals of theater, music and poetry and often find street art. They have a variety of museums, local restaurants, bars and clubs that provide an interesting offer of culture and entertainment.
Known as the coffee, this region is located in the central western Colombia and occupies the departments of Caldas, Risaralda, Quindio, northern Cauca Valley and the south east of Antioquia. Its distinctive mountain landscape with steep slopes and rainforests, to appreciate the extensive and numerous coffee plantations and their respective estates, engaged in cultivation, processing and marketing. Among the variety of places to visit, is the Parque Nacional Natural Los Nevados, located in the highest part of the Central Cordillera of the Colombian Andes at 4050 meters above sea level, Tatamá Natural National Park, Wildlife Sanctuary and Otún Quimbaya Flora and Ucumarí Park, among others.
