SITUATION Òdena is a village located in the region of Anoia (province of Barcelona) and one of the villages that –along with Montbui and Igualada- are part of the Conca d’Òdena. Òdena is in 2km far from Igualada and 60km from Barcelona. This village is located in the heard of Catalonia. It is situated close to the highway A2 at Exit 555 and to the mountain of Montserrat. As far as the airports refers, it’s is close to the airports of Barcelona, Girona and Tarragona. As the beaches concern, it’s located 30 minutes far from Barcelona and 1 hour from the beaches of the Costa Daurada in Tarragona. With about 3,500 residents, is one of the places with more territory of Anoia’s region. The restored castle tower placed in the core of the village is the most relevant architectural building of Òdena. Òdena is a town with a great engagement to the sport. Every year, they have welcomed outstanding events such as Enduro Championship of Catalonia, the Only Woman which has been the largest girls’ bike meeting ever in Catalonia and the annual celebration of the Duathlon Mountain Open Nature. Other motorcycle events such as trial ones have been recently held. These sports take advantage of the Odena’s great geography which stands out for its fantastic land of forests, streams and areas with large stones. Òdena is proud of his two young champion brothers called Seuba Brothers which stand out their abilities at the bike trial discipline. Finally, Òdena also has the Bike Trial School and permanent areas with obstacles ready for the enjoyment for the riders.

ORGANIZATION

OCISPORT is the company responsible for organizing the event, which has years of experience in this sector. The most outstanding events organized have been the Mountain Sport Olympic Games, the Mountain Bike World Cups, several Cups and Championship in Spain, Running and Skiing Championship fairs and active outdoor sport events. As far as the bike trial discipline, they have organized the two last successful editions of the World Bike Trial Championship in Igualada.

REGISTRATION AND INSURANCE

1. Riders MUST have the Bike Trial International Union license.

2. The registration document has been send to each BIU country’s delegate. The last registration day for the riders will be on the 13th of July.

3. The registration pilot fee is 30€. This amount MUST be paid by the country’s delegate to the organizer BEFORE the first meeting of the Jury. This meeting will be held the day of the event.

4. The organizer will NOT be the provider of the rider’s accident insurance as each rider MUST be responsible for having their own insurance covered by his/her license.

HOSPITAL

1. The organizer WILL provide medical services to the BIU regulations.

2. If you need hospitalization, you WILL have the ambulance service to the hospital.

3. All the hospital services not covered by the rider’s insurance WILL be given to the rider.

4. If you need any hospitalization, you WILL be given the ambulance service to the hospital.

5. There will always be -at least- one ambulance at the race.
