The company Duro y Cia. is set up to manufacture iron products at

the factory in La Felguera (Asturias-Northern Spain)

The company changes to become Sociedad Metalúrgica Duro

Felguera (SMDF) and leads the domestic steel and coal markets

SMDF shares start trading on the Madrid Stock Exchange.

Description

DF Núcleo has developed, certified, manufactured and

integrated, the Generator Control Unit (GCU) for the

consortium Eurofighter.

These control units for on-board systems guarantee that

the airplane power generation sources will always supply

the appropriate amount of electric energy. It also shows

the airplane crew and the maintenance personnel the

generators’ status and, in case of failure, allows them to

connect or disconnect them.
