Presente simple passive
Se utiliza principalmente para dar énfasis a la acción en lugar de quién la realiza. En español tenemos varias formas de pasiva como vemos en el ejemplo. En inglés utilizaremos la misma estructura en ambos casos.
El árbol está hecho de billetes. Se venden animales en esta tienda.
Something is done by someone regularly / everyday / as expected...
Active : The gardener waters the flowers every evening.Passive: The flowers are watered by the gardener every evening.
Active : Helen doesn't drink anything in parties.Passive: Nothing is drunk by Helen in parties.
Active : Who sells umbrellas?Passive: Who are umbrellas sold by?
Active : My mother doesn't paint the walls.Passive: The walls aren't painted by my mother.
Como se escribe
Sujeto + verbo to be (am/is/are) + participio pasado. Se usa is o are dependiendo en si el sujeto es singular o plural— Rice is grown in China. Grapes are grown in La Mancha. - See more at:
Ejemplos
Chinese people grow rice, o bien They grow rice in China. La palabra they se refiere a cualquier grupo de personas - See more

Usos de Present Simple Passive
La voz pasiva se usa para describir lo que le ocurre al sujeto de la frase. Las frases pasivas subrayan la acción del verbo, que en estos casos será más importante que el sujeto que realiza la acción.They are contacted by email everydayThe film was made in Japan
