Please join us as we celebrate Presbyterian Healthcare Foundation’s 30th annual Daffodil Days. For three decades, the Foundation has sold beautiful yellow flowers delivered fresh from the fields of Washington to support Presbyterian Home Healthcare, which includes home care, palliative care, and hospice services. Funds raised help patients and families facing financial hardships pay for utility bills, food coupons, medications, funeral expenses, and much more.

daffodil days will be held March 21 and 22, 2014. we expect to deliver over 1,700 pre-ordered arrangements and sell more than 170,000 flowers at 26 sites throughout the albuquerque and rio rancho metro areas.

Welcome spring to New Mexico and support a program that benefits so many. We offer three cheerful options, and you can choose as many of each as you’d like.

• dancing daffodil arrangement (20 daffodils, baby’s breath, greens, ribbon and vase) for $25Note: The Dancing Daffodil arrangement is only available by pre-order.

• sunshine arrangement (10 daffodils, baby’s breath, greens, ribbon and vase) for $15• daffodil bunch (10 daffodils per bunch) for $6.

orders of $100 or more will be delivered free of charge to your home or office on wednesday, March 19 or thursday, March 20. orders of less than $100 can be delivered for a $10 fee or can be picked up on friday, March 21 at one of our seven pick-up locations. don’t forget to indicate your pick-up location on the order form to ensure that your order is ready and waiting for you. the order deadline is february 28.

We offer four easy ways to order. You may place your order online at www.phs.org/DaffodilDays, mail your completed order form, or call the Foundation at (505) 724-6577. Credit card orders may also be faxed to (505) 841-1113. All orders must be received by February 28.

When “Victoria’s” mother was admitted to Presbyterian Hospice, Victoria was the primary caregiver and her expenses were mounting. But barriers of education and language did not keep Victoria from insisting that she remain by her mother’s side as much as possible.

When her mother passed, Victoria was extremely distraught. Several members of the Presbyterian Hospice team reached out to her. Patti Drake, Presbyterian’s Grief Support Social Worker, immediately helped Victoria begin the process of working through – and living through – her loss. Presbyterian Healthcare Foundation helped as well, providing the much-needed funds for funeral expenses.

Through tears of thankfulness, Victoria simply repeated over and over that she couldn’t have provided the care she wished for her mother without the support of Presbyterian Hospice.
