Why should you do preproduction Pre-production is the planning phase for the entire film ,music or video. It’s where you take your ideas and inspirations and write them down as a guide for yourself and for your piers to follow. This is a crucial phase of the entire process. You can liken preproduction to the business plan in starting a business. You need a business plan. If you jump in without a plan, you’ll most likely end up scratching your head at the end of the project, wondering why you hadn’t planned things out more carefully.

• Script• There’s a lot to think about when you’re running a film shoot, and not having some sort of outline

of events will get you way behind schedule before you can even say ACTION. First, and foremost, you need a script. If you don’t have a story to shoot, then how do you plan to film anything? Work shopping the script into a clean, concise message whether it be a narrative or an informational video

• Character analyses• The advantage of this is that it not only structures the story of the film, video, music, etc., but it allows

guides the actors/cast to understand and correctly portray there intended characters and grasp the essences of the character's. This is the difference from having your vision accurately done.

is the use of a script if don’t have a clear vision of what actions or events will take place and its mise en scene.

and this counters the effect of a brain hammering nuisance which derives from looking for or misplacing needed props and equipment . Its like if you got o the grocery store and don’t have a checklist, you end up not getting everything you wanted and coming back for it is a nuisance. .
