LABORATORY CASE NARRATIVE
BLUE RIDGE LANDFILL
VERIFICATION SAMPLING JULY 2019
1 GROUNDWATER
#50231942
General Reporting Comments
The project samples were analyzed for Verification Total Metals. Pace Analytical Services located in
Indianapolis, Indiana performed all sample analysis. No sample analysis was subcontracted. Total Metals
PQL (Practical Quanitation Limit) used were the Texas MSW-Final Benchmark PQLs dated 03-25-2010.
Please note, Exceptions Reports have been included for checklist items R6 line 1, R3 line2. These items
have been checked “yes” on the Laboratory Checklist, as Pace Analytical meets the criteria except in those
cases where it is not applicable (ICP, ICP/MS, multi- analyte analysis, etc.), as noted in the referenced
NELAC standards.
Sample Receiving
Any discrepancies concerning sample receipt or sample transfer were noted on the Sample Condition Upon
Receipt Form.
The case samples were analyzed within the method specified holding times for the requested parameters.
The case samples were analyzed in accordance with NELAC requirements. No anomalies or deviations
from these requirements were noted.
