MATTHEW 24:3-143 Later, Jesus sat on the Mount of Olives.

His disciples came to him privately and said, “Tell us, when will all this happen? What sign will signal your return and the

end of the world?” 4 Jesus told them, “Don’t let anyone mislead you,

MATTHEW 24:3-145 for many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I

am the Messiah.’ They will deceive many. 6 And you will hear of wars and

threats of wars, but don’t panic. Yes, these things must take place, but the end won’t

follow immediately.

MATTHEW 24:7-87 Nation will go to war against nation, and

kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in many parts of the world. 8 But all this is only the first

of the birth pains, with more to come.

MATTHEW 24:9-109 “Then you will be arrested, persecuted, and

killed. You will be hated all over the world because you are my followers.10 And many

will turn away from me and betray and hate each other.

MATTHEW 24:11-1211 And many false prophets will appear

and will deceive many people. 12 Sin will be rampant everywhere, and the

love of many will grow cold.

MATTHEW 24:13-1413 But the one who endures to the end

will be saved. 14 And the Good News about the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, so that all nations will hear it; and then the

end will come.

I. SUPERNATURAL WEALTH TRANSFER IS COMING TO

A. SIGNIFICANT - means large enough to be noticed - have an effect or MARK

1. Israel stripped the Egyptians of their wealth (Moses)

(Exodus 12:36)

EXODUS 12:3636 The LORD caused the Egyptians to look favorably on the Israelites, and

they gave the Israelites whatever they asked for. So they stripped the

Egyptians of their wealth!


2. King Jehoshaphat gathered plunder of 3 nations

(2 Chronicles 20:25)

2 CHRONICLES 20:25 King Jehoshaphat and his men went out to

gather the plunder. They found vast amounts of equipment, clothing, and other

valuables—more than they could carry. There was so much plunder that it took

them three days just to collect it all!


3. Joseph’s exceptional leadership in times of famine

(Genesis 47:13-20)

GENESIS 47:13-2013 Meanwhile, the famine became so severe that all the food

was used up, and people were starving throughout the lands of Egypt and Canaan. 14 By selling grain to the

people, Joseph eventually collected all the money in Egypt and Canaan, and he put the money in Pharaoh’s

treasury. 15 When the people of Egypt and Canaan ran out of money, all the Egyptians came to Joseph. “Our money is gone!” they cried. “But please give us food, or we will die

before your very eyes!”

GENESIS 47:16-1716 Joseph replied, “Since your money is gone, bring

me your livestock. I will give you food in exchange for your livestock.” 17 So they brought their livestock to Joseph in exchange for food. In

exchange for their horses, flocks of sheep and goats, herds of cattle, and donkeys, Joseph provided them with food for another year.

GENESIS 47:18-1918 But that year ended, and the next year they came again

and said, “We cannot hide the truth from you, my lord. Our money is gone, and all our livestock and cattle are

yours. We have nothing left to give but our bodies and our land. 19 Why should we die before your very eyes? Buy us and our land in exchange for food; we offer our land and ourselves as slaves for Pharaoh. Just give us grain so we may live and not die, and so the land does not become

empty and desolate.”

GENESIS 47:2020 So Joseph bought all the land of Egypt for Pharaoh. All the Egyptians

sold him their fields because the famine was so severe, and soon all

the land belonged to Pharaoh.


4. David killed Goliath (1 Samuel 17:49,53)

1 SAMUEL 17:4949 Reaching into his shepherd’s bag and taking out a stone, he hurled it with his

sling and hit the Philistine in the forehead. The stone sank in, and Goliath

stumbled and fell face down on the ground.

1 SAMUEL 17:5353 Then the Israelite army returned and plundered the deserted Philistine

camp.


5. Declared & written by Solomon (Ecclesiastes 2:26) -God gives it to those who please Him *Live for Him *Go and make disciples of all the nations *Never stop- giving (SIGNIFICANT)

ECCLESIASTES 2:2626 God gives wisdom, knowledge, and joy

to those who please him. But if a sinner becomes wealthy, God takes the wealth away and gives it to those who please

him. This, too, is meaningless—like chasing the wind.
