    PREPARATION OUTLINE 1

    The Effective Learning for Autism Children

    Prepared by : Siti Solehah Bt Ghazali

    Prepared for : Pn Rafizah Bt Mohd Rawian

    Specific Purpose : To inform my audience about the effective learning for autism

    children disorder.

    Central idea : The effective learning for autism children is through seeing

    (visual), hearing (audio), touching or manipulating an object

    (kinaesthetic or 'hands-on' learning).

    INTRODUCTION

    I. Imagine this, after you graduated you find a job and you get married. It is a

    happy married and you are blessed with a child.

    II. After nine months pregnancy, morning sickness and leg cramps your baby is

    born. Unfortunately few months later the doctor proved that your baby suffer

    with autism.

    III. Autism causes of genetic factors, pregnancy complication or viral infection

    that give impact in children mind and information process.

    IV. Its hard for kids with autism to talk with other people and express themselves

    using words, they usually keep to themselves and many cant communicate

    with special help.

    V. Autism happened in one or two children in every one thousand of birth and

    frequently happened four times among male compared to female.

    VI. Now, your children need a special education but how is special education that

    autism children need?

    VII. Today, I am going to share with you all the effective learning to teach autism

    children through seeing (visual), hearing (audio), touching or manipulating an

    object(kinaesthetic or hands on learning).

    BODY

    I. Visual is the effective learning for autism children.

    A. Flash cards are used in effective learning for autism in order to incurred

    understanding and attract attention.

    1. Flashcards are pictures or words cards. It provides two-

    dimensional representations of a whole range of subject

    matter including objects, actions, places and people.

    2. Flash cards are effective learning that would either be

    difficult or impossible to teach using the real item. Flash card

    is usually of a size that can be easily handled by children.

    3. Learning using flashcards allows you to clearly target the

    effective teaching objective. If used correctly, they can

    contribute extremely to a child's therapy programme and lead

    to significant gains in language, communication, pre-

    academic and social skills.

    B. A visual schedule is an effective learning to provide autism children

    with consistent cues about their daily activities.

    1. Visual schedules provide a structure that allows autism

    children to anticipate what will happen next, reduce anxiety

    by providing the student with a vision of his or her day and

    promote calmness between transitions.

    2. Through the consistent use of the schedule the student can

    begin to pair the symbol present with the activities that are

    occurring.

    CONCLUSION

    I. In a nutshell, visual learning is the best effective learning to be practice by

    teacher or parents in order to teach their autism children.

    II. Autism children commonly achieve their best learning when visual learning

    are used, they should be among the modifications to ensure effective

    learning environment.

    III. Visual learning is an interesting learning and will be effective and it can

    enhance understanding of the autism children.
