Submission of an entry form and/or physical presence on the show grounds shall constitute both implied and real consent for both the handler and their dog to be video recorded. MST at the address of the Show Secretary, after which time no entries may be accepted, cancelled, changed, substituted, completed or signed, and no entry fees refunded. Telephone, FAX or email entries are not accepted. Class changes and cancellations must be received in writing prior to closing date, except as provided for in Chapter 14, Section 6 of the AKC Dog Show Rules.

Entries sent overnight must require no signature for delivery.

BRED BY EXHIBITOR CLASS ELIGIBILTY

All dogs entered in the Bred By Exhibitor Class must be individually registered with the AKC. The person handling the dog must be a breeder of record of the dog and an owner of record of the dog, and family members must both be a breeder and owner of record to exhibit in this class.

SINGLE DOG NON REGULAR CLASS

4-6 MONTH BEGINNER PUPPY:

The Four-to-Six Month Puppy competition shall be for dogs that are four months of age and over but under six months on the day of the event. AKC registration number or an AKC litter number will be required for entries. A foreign born dog may enter this class if they are registered in the country of origin. Professional handlers are not permitted to exhibit in this class. Classes will not be divided by sex in this competition.

VETERAN COMPETITION:

Veteran Dogs, 7 yrs. & under 10 yrs. Veteran Bitches, 7 yrs. & under 10 yrs. Veteran Dogs, 10 yrs. & Over Veteran Bitches, 10 yrs. & Over Veteran Dogs & Bitches may be spayed or neutered at Specialty Shows

Winners of the above classes are eligible for Best of Breed competition.

BEST OF BREED COMPETITION

Dogs that are Champions of Record and/or which according to their owner’s record have completed the requirements for a Championship, but whose Championships are unconfirmed. The entry and showing of those dogs whose Championships are unconfirmed is limited to a period of 90 days from the date of the show where the dog completed the requirements for the Championship according to the owner’s records. If, at the end of 90-day period, the Championship of the dog has not been confirmed by the American Kennel Club, no further entries of the dog for Best of Breed competition are to be made until it has been confirmed by AKC.

AWARD OF MERIT The judge may, at her discretion, select up to 10% of the entry for Best of Breed competition to be given an Award of Merit, in addition to Best of Breed and Best Opposite Sex to Best of Breed.

BEST PUPPY IN REGULAR CLASSES

Best Puppy will be selected from the Puppy Class winners (6-9 & 9-12) following the judging of Best of Breed Competition.

BEST BRED BY EXHIBITOR IN REGULAR CLASSES

Best Bred By Exhibitor will be selected from the Best Bred By Exhibitor Class winners following the judging of Best of Breed competition.

BEST VETERAN IN REGULAR CLASSES

Best Veteran will be selected from the Veteran Class winners following the judging of Best of Breed competition.

MULTIPLE DOG NON REGULAR CLASSES

STUD DOG CLASS: For Dogs and at least two, and not more than four of their Get. It is

not necessary that the get be under the same ownership as that of the Stud Dog. The Stud Dog may be entered in one of the Regular Classes or, if a Champion of Record, in the Best of Breed competition, but must be entered in the Stud Dog class. The Get must be entered in one of the Regular Classes or, if a Champion of Record, in the Best of Breed competition. The Stud Dog shall be considered one entry and requires one entry fee – this being the regular fee of $35.00 or $28.00, if the Stud Dog is entered in another class. The Stud Dog must be shown in the ring with the Get. The class will be judged based on the merits of the Get. While the merits of the Stud Dog are not to be considered in the placement of the entry, the Stud Dog must be examined to determine if it has a condition that would require its disqualification or excusal under the dog show rules, AKC policy, or the standard of the breed. A neutered male may be entered in the Stud Dog class.

BROOD BITCH CLASS: For Bitches and at least two, and not more than four of their

Produce. It is not necessary that the Produce be under the same ownership as that of the Brood Bitch. The Brood Bitch may be entered in one of the Regular Classes or, if a Champion of Record, in the Best of Breed competition, but must be entered in the Brood Bitch class. The Produce must be entered in one of the Regular Classes or, if a Champion of Record, in the Best of Breed competition. The Brood Bitch shall be considered one entry and requires one entry fee – this being the regular fee of $35.00 or $28.00, if the Brood Bitch is entered in another class. The Brood Bitch must be shown in the ring with the Produce. The class will be judged based on the merits of the Produce. While the merits of the Brood Bitch are not to be considered in the placement of the entry, the Brood Bitch must be examined to determine if it has a condition that would require its disqualification or excusal under the dog show rules, AKC policy, or the standard of the breed. A spayed bitch may be entered in the Brood Bitch class.

NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS

1. A recording fee of .50 cents per dog and an AKC Event Service Fee of $3.00

per entry will be required for each dog entered at any Licensed or Member Club Show, Obedience Trial or Rally Trial. These fees are to be collected by the show-giving Club and paid to the American Kennel Club. If a dog is entered in more than one class at the show, the fees are to be collected on the first entry only. 2. Entries must reach show secretary, Jackie Lawrence, 2070 E. Melrose St., Gilbert, Az., 85297, Wednesday, October 31, 2012, 7:00 PM MST. Fees must

accompany entries. 3. The club and/or Show Secretary assume no responsibility for wrong or

incomplete information given on the entry blank by the owner or agent of the owner. 4. The club and/or the Show Secretary assume no responsibility for the owner or

owner’s agents entering a dog in a class which the dog is not eligible to compete, or for entering the same dog twice. No refunds of $5.00 or less will be made. 5. There is no refund of entry fee for duplicate entry. There will be a $4.00 fee charge for cancellation of entry prior to closing of entries. 6. Foreign exhibitors must submit entries with checks drawn on U.S. accounts or

with international money orders in U.S. funds. 7. Entry fees shall NOT be refunded in the event the dog is absent, disqualified,

sick, lame, excused by veterinarian or judge, barred from competition by action of the Bench Show Committee. 8. Entry fees will NOT be refunded if it is impossible to open or complete the

show because of riots, civil disturbance, fires, an act of God, public emergency, acts of public enemy, or other acts or cause beyond the control of the club. 9. Black Russian Terrier Club of America, Inc. may decline any entries for cause

and may refuse to receive or may remove any dog on account of disease, viciousness or other cause, and no one shall have any claim against the Club or any official thereof. 10. Returned checks or post dated checks do not constitute a valid entry fee. The

Show Secretary will add a collection fee of $25.00 to the amount of each returned check. Subsequent returned checks for the same exhibitor will result in their being put on a CASH ONLY basis. The returned check MUST BE MADE GOOD by cash or money order BEFORE the dog will be allowed in the ring. 11. Entries not on official AKC Entry forms and photocopies of entry forms

without the Agreement and Rules on the reverse side of the Official AKC Entry Form are not acceptable. No entry shall be made and no entry shall be accepted which specifies a condition to acceptance. 12. Owners are to have their dogs ready to go into the ring promptly, so judging

will not be delayed. Dogs need only to be present for their judging. Dogs not needed for further judging may be excused. Owners of dogs or the handlers of the dogs alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging rings. This means it is not the responsibility of the ring steward, nor any agent of the show-giving club to locate any dog, its owner or handler. Waiting for dogs is a courtesy extended to owners and handlers. There is no American Kennel Club or club rule requiring a judge to wait for an owner or handler to Committee, or because the dog is ineligible to compete due to being entered incorrectly.

13. Owners must familiarize themselves with the agreement of the American

Kennel Club, referred to on the reverse side of the entry blanks that accompany this premium list. Rule books may be obtained from A.K.C., 5580 Centerview Dr., Suite 200, Raleigh, NC 27606. 14. The club, its Show Secretary or their employees will not be responsible for

the loss of or damage to any dog exhibited, whether the result of accident or other cause and in addition assumes no responsibility for any loss, damage or injury sustained by an exhibitor or handler. It is distinctly understood that every dog at these shows is in the care and custody and control of his owner or handler during the entire time the dog is on the show premises. 15. Black Russian Terrier Club of America, Inc. does not agree to arbitrate claims

set forth on official AKC entry form for this event. 16. Dogs which according to their owners’ records have completed the

requirements for a championship after the closing of entries for the show but whose championships are unconfirmed, may be transferred from the regular classes to the Best of Breed Competition, provided this transfer is made by the Show Secretary at least one half hour prior to the start of the earliest judging at the Show. 17. Junior Handlers who win a third Novice class after the closing of entries may

transfer their entry from Novice Class to the Open Class provided the this transfer is made by the Show Secretary at least one half hour prior to the scheduled start of the earliest conformation judging or one half hour prior to the scheduled start of Junior Showmanship judging at the Show, whichever is earlier. 18. Dogs which according to their owners’ records have earned their

requirements for obedience or rally titles after the closing of entries for the show but whose title is unconfirmed, may be moved up to the next class, provided the transfer is made by the Show Secretary at least one half hour prior to the start of the earliest judging at the Show. 19. There is no provision offered for unentered dogs at this show. 20. No ex-pens under grooming tents or judging tents will be allowed. 21. Trophies, prizes and cash will be awarded in the judging ring before the

completion of the classes and breed to the person showing the dog. The Show Secretary is to be advised at once, in the event of any discrepancy. The Secretary and the Black Russian Terrier Club of America, Inc. disclaim any liability for cash prizes after the judging of the breed is over. All trophies must be claimed the day of show. None will be mailed. 22. Do not leave any dogs in closed vehicles. All persons attending this dog

show hereby waive any claim for damages against the club, its members or agents in the event a vehicle must be entered in order to rescue a dog from overheating or suffocation due to improper ventilation. 23. THIS IS A SELF CLEANING SHOW. PLEASE PICK UP AFTER YOUR DOG 24. The welfare of an exhibitor’s child is the responsibility of the exhibitor. It is

expressly understood that the exhibitors will exercise control and restraint over their children at all times. 25. Electricity will be available on the show grounds. Bring a good electrical cord

for your use. 26. Shade tenting will be available; however you may wish to bring additional

tenting.

2012 Coyote Classic Overnight Parking

Those wishing to park overnight for the Coyote Classic must make reservations through the Classic, or pay in cash/money order at the gate. All parking is at your own risk. Check-in for Reserved Parking is open with prepaid, confirmed reservations from 4:00pm to 8:00pm on Monday, November 12, 2012, and anytime after 2:00pm on Wednesday, November 14, 2012. The parking fee is $45 per night if received by October 31, 2012, and $50 per

night if paid at the gate (cash/money order only). Early arrivals or additional nights will be $50 per night. There will be a $20 charge for any additional vehicle using hook-ups in the same space. Availability and type of hook-ups are irregular and cannot be guaranteed, however, the Coyote Classic will make every effort to accommodate as many reservations as possible. A limited number of self-contained spaces are available on asphalt at a reduced rate of $30 per night advanced, $35 per night at the gate (first come, first saved). 1. Ground cover is advised. No charge for day-of-show parking. Overnight handicapped parking spaces are limited. Handicapped Parking does not mean “Near the Rings.” It only means a readily available surface and space. 2. Dump stations are on the grounds. RV’s must use hose “donut” adapters for

dumping hook-ups and appropriate electric extension cords, available at Fairgrounds office. 3. All reservations must be in writing and will be accepted via mail only. Please print clearly. 4. Please include a self-addressed, stamped envelope for parking confirmation and map. E-mail confirmation is also available (indicate below). 5. Requests for a particular space, or to be set up next to another exhibitor, cannot be guaranteed. If you wish to park with another vehicle, you MUST arrive together and reservations must also be submitted together in the same envelope, as certain lots will no longer be assigned space numbers in advance. 6. Advance reservations will not be accepted after October 31, 2012. Cancellations, refunds or changes are also not permitted after October 31, 2012. Authorized Refunds will not be paid until after the show ends on November 19, 2012. For overnight parking November 11th and prior, or November 20th and later,

contact the Pima County Fairgrounds office on-site. 7. RETURNED CHECKS OR INSUFFICIENT PAYMENT DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A VALID RESERVATION. Returned or canceled checks will be charged a $25 service fee.
