The group’s facilities include a state-of-the-art Marble Processing Unit at the Al Ghail Free Zone in Ras Al Khaimah. Established in 2010, the unit is spread over an area of 20,000 sq. m. and has an annual processing capacity of over 200,000 sq. mts. of marble slabs

ABOUT THECOMPANY

Marble is a natural stone that has been used to enhance temples, palaces and the homes of the affluent for hundreds of years. It is mined from quarries and comes in different varieties. Some of the world’s most renowned marbles include Carrara and Palissandro White from Greece, Crema Marfil and the Emperadors from Spain and Travertine from Italy, Turkey & Iran.

Apart from our own quarries, we have strong ties with quarries across Europe and Asia from where we source marble blocks, cut to size & process them into finished slabs at the factory, and deliver ‘tailor-made’ solutions to clients.

We offer a whole range of marble varieties apart from the premium ones listed above, depending on the need of the client.

Like artists working with marble to create masterpieces, we pride ourselves on our ability to bring out the best from the natural marble blocks that we work with.

At the factory, we possess ultra-modern equipment for cutting and polishing the blocks into finished products - Block Dressing Machines, Gang Saws, the Polishing Line (Barsanti Good Star+), a Resin Line (Res 50 Combi) and Bridge Cutting Machines. For fine finishing, we have the latest Water Jet Cutting Machine that is capable of delivering intricate designs for inlays.

The processing starts with the dressing of the block, i.e. giving it a shape which can be loaded on to the Gang Saw. Giant blades with continuous cooling slice the block into slabs of required thickness. The slabs are then put into the Polishing Machine. Once polished, some types of marble which require strengthening are provided with a back-mesh.

Porous marbles like Travertines are treated on the Italian Resin Line before being loaded on to the automated Polishing Line that gets the slabs ready for dispatch after the final polish.

Slabs can also be cut to measure using our Bridge Cutters as per client requirements, with special designs being processed on the Water Jet Cutting Machine.

From floor finishes to cladding to decorative features, our workmanship is key to enhancing the beauty of this natural stone that epitomizes luxury.

Starting with site pre-inspections to detailed workshop drawings, which are then transferred to the factory to cut into the right sizes, our trained team of engineers, foremen and masons are focused on delivering the best quality and minimizing wastage.
