Preliminary task

What worked well?

• I think the planning of the task went well, and how we came up with a short story easily. We have a clear idea of what we want everything to look like and how each shot should be.

What could be improved?

• I think really the detail could be improved for example, to have a better idea of how long each shot is going to be and should be for it to work out. We also need to think about background music either digetic or non-digetic just to show that it was something that we thought about.

What was difficult about this process?

• The most difficult part of the process was putting the pictures on the Mac so we could edit them into a sequence. Unfortunately when we plugged the camera into the mac, it would not read it.

What problems will you foresee in filming your preliminary task and how

will you solve these problems?

• I can definitely see our group having troubkeputting the videos from the video camera on the Mac since we had trouble with the photos. I would definitely ask for advise firstly from the rest of the students and if that doesn't work then go on to ask help from our teacher or technician.

How did your storyboard help you?

• Our storyboard helped us plan because it made us look at all the elements we needed to include and also the finer details.
