Founded in 1962, MTG Engineers and Surveyors (MTG) has since continuously provided a broad range of quality profes-sional engineering and land surveying services.

Our primary service area is the Four States Region of Texas, Arkansas, Okla-homa and Louisiana; however, MTG is licensed to provide engineering services in an additional twelve states.

Throughout our history, the people of MTG have consistently distinguished themselves in meeting the needs of our clients by providing a broad range of professional services based on a combina-tion of professionalism, extensive experi-ence and technical innovation. Quality By DesignAll MTG projects prioritize quality by an iterative process with the client that results in

a project in which quality is obvious and timeless.

Pictured here is the Christus St. Michael Campus and surrounding areas, in which buildings,

parking, access drives, and storm water management were integrated into a site that prioritized

a natural, healing setting. Prior to the design of this campus, a tree survey was conducted. The

following design process prioritized a natural setting by preserving signature trees and green

buffers, as well as floodplain/wetland protection and enhancement

Since no planning or design process is ever any better than the data upon which it

is based, beginning with a quality land survey that meets or exceeds governmental

and technical requirements is a critical component to success! MTG is committed

to provision of quality Public Land Surveying services, as evidenced by our having

providing these services to our Clients throughout our history.

MTG PLANNING|| Quality is the key to a successful project.

MTG’s philosophy is that quality planning is the key to a successful project. We believe it is critical to clearly define the goals and expectations of our Clients. With the Client’s goals and expectations understood, we then apply our insights, experience, and technology throughout the planning process with frequent communication with our Clients.

Conceptual planning is a key component of the design process. MTG’s first step in this process is to get a clear understanding of the goals of the Client. MTG will then research all available site data, whether from actual surveys or publicly available Geographic Information Systems (GIS), including:

• Boundary/Topographic Surveys;• Digital orthographic aerial photographs,• FEMA Floodplain maps,• Political boundaries or extraterritorial jurisdictions,

• Water/sewer infrastructure,• Roadway highway maps, and• Other similar data.

With the above data gathered for a project file MTG routinely conducts “design charrette” sessions with our Clients. In such a session, guided by the Client, MTG produces conceptual designs of the Client’s project in “real time” while sitting together. With this step completed to the Client’s satisfaction, MTG staff then takes the charrette product and produces a conceptual design for the next iteration of the Client’s Project. MTG routinely prepares shaded project renderings, both in house and coordinated with third party specialty firms, of conceptual designs for various types of projects desired by our Clients for use in their project marketing and development.
