The Easyfold & Easyflex systems are an additional feature

of the curtain hardware systems. It complies fully with the

contemporary demand for round and fluent shapes in

decorative interiors.

They offer new possibilities for domestic applications in large

and high spaces, such as lobbies, entrances, reception areas,

conference rooms, auditoriums, meeting rooms, food and beverage outlets etc.

and motorised tracks and curtain rod systems (CRS), giving a

modern and special folding design to the curtain.

Such a modern curtain heading system combined with a

The Easyfold.Easyflex heading stacks back neatly, taking up less space than traditional pleated headings.

The glider-cord is not visible when the curtain is fully closed.•

Easy to take down and re-hang thanks to its detachable carrier-base.

Depending on the fullness selected the Easyfold system can be more economical than more traditional curtains. (Up to 33% less fabric compared to a regular pencil pleat curtain)

HOW DOES THE EASYFOLD/FLEX SYSTEM WORK

The system is available in two types;Easyfold with metal press studs already fixed on the heading tape at a fixed distance, in combination with double sided Easysnap carriers.Easyflex with pockets on the heading tape, allowing for a flexible positioning of the hooks, in combination with Easyflex carriers.

•

Specially designed interconnected-gliders are contained witin the curtain track.

•

This connection cord limits the extension of the curtain fabric, creating a smooth and continuous folding effect. When opened, the system enables the curtains to stack back neatly and straight.

•

Depending on the fabric type, a regular buckram tape could be used with the Easyfold tape at the top of the curtain to maintain a smooth appearance.

•

Transparent Easyflex tape with pockets allows for completely variable folds and any fullness desired, from 150% to £350%!

•

Easyfold tape available in: white, black, and transparent, in 10cm and 15cm spacing. Fullness options 180%, 200%, 270% and 300%.

•

Both Easyfold and Easyflex can be applied on all Evaglide curtain track systems.

WORKROOM INSTRUCTIONS EASYFLEX SYSTEM

Evans understand that many workrooms will have their own method of manufacturing curtains. This guide is intended to give you a suggested make up method so you get the best from the Evans Easyfold/Flex systems. When using your own fabrics we suggest that sample curtains are made to determine whether;

1. It is suitable for use with Easyfold/Flex

2. If so, which size of Fold is mostappropriate.

3. How many Easyfold/Flex carriers are exactly required tomake up a particular size track.

In general, stiffer fabrics tend not to lend themselves well to Easyfold/Flex since they struggle to hold the soft curves for the drop of the curtain.

Once you have confirmed your fabric is suitable you may want to consider using lead weight tape and curtain side weights for an improved finished appearance. The maximum weight that the standard Easyfold and Easyflex tape can carry is 10 kg per meter of track. However, individual track weight restrictions still apply. Easyfold Roller and Easyflex Roller have much higher weight limitations, consult the catalogue to see individual system weight graphs. This guide is based on using the recommended Easyfold/Flex component parts detailed below.

The Easyflex system works with a 7,7 cm high transparent tape with pockets, one roll of 100 meters has 100 pockets. In the pockets you can fit the Easyflex hooks, which are the lower part of the Easyflex carriers. The carriers are available in 60% (8,0 cm), 80% (6,0 cm) and 100 % (5,4 cm) width. Easyflex endhooks are used to connect the curtain to the master carriers. The base of the first master carrier can be fixed onto the master carrier, to make sure the master carrier takes the curtain along with it.

The Easyfold system works with a range of press stud tapes, in

white, black or transparent versions. The stainless steel snaps (press studs) are placed at fixed distances in the tape, with a distance from center to center of 10,75 or 15,75 cm. The carriers are available in 80% (6,0 cm) and 100 % (5,4 cm) width. The snaptool can be used to add snaps to the tape wherever required, for increased stability to the curtain when fixing it on an overlap arm or return pulley. The base of the first master carrier can be fixed onto the master carrier, to make sure the master carrier takes the curtain along with it.

• Elegant and fashionable channel rod system;

• Easy and quick assembly;

• Rod available in 20 mm and 28 mm profile;

• Bendable both with an inside and outside

corner with a 10cm radius (20mm rod) and

20cm radius (28mm)

• Colours: White, Antique Bronze, Inox, Black,

Chrome and Gold;

• The brackets and end caps are available in all colours

• Length: 5,80 metres;

• Rail quality: aluminium, chromated, powder coated

and anti-friction treated.

• Black and Chrome are only in 28mm.

For a low-wear operation the pulley

housing has been equipped with

high-quality ball bearings.

3 - REMOTE CONTROL

Easy opening and closing with the

hand-held remote control.

4 - REINFORCEd TRANSPORT BELT

The Kevlar reinforcement of the transport

belt ensures a low noise operation, which

provides also for a long life.

5 - EASy RUNNING RETURN PULLEy

The special plastic of the return pulley‘s

plain bearing ensures an easy running of

the toothed belt.

6 - COMPLETELy CLOSEd CURTAINS

The overlap carrier guarantees a complete

closing of the curtains.
