THE  TEAM  –  SUNEERA  NERISSA  MADHOK  

§  Suneera  has  done  her  Bachelor  in  Law  from  Symbiosis  InternaNonal  University,  Pune.  She  has  also  secured  a  post  graduate  diploma  in  Media  &  Entertainment  Laws  from  NALSAR,  Hyderabad,  a  diploma  in  SecuriNes  &  Investment  Laws  from  ASCL,  Pune  and  in  InternaNonal  Business  Laws  &  Corporate  Governance  in  India  from  Symbiosis   InternaNonal   University,   Pune.   She   is   currently   pursuing   a   post   graduate   diploma   in  Entrepreneurship  &  Business  AdministraNon  Laws  from  NUJS,  Kolkata.  

§  She  did  her  internships  at  AZB  &  Partners,  Mumbai  and  J.  Sagar  &  Associates,  Mumbai  during  college,  post  which   she   assisted   in   draVing   an  Act  &   its   Rules   for   the  Government   of  Goa   in   2009.   Following   that   she  joined  Oasis  Counsel  &  Advisory,  a  corporate  iniNaNve  led  by  Sr.  Adv.  Haresh  JagNani  in  collaboraNon  with  D.M.  Harish  &  Co.  and  was  a  key  personnel  of   their   senior  management   team  Nll   she  co-­‐founded  Nomos  Associates.  

§  Suneera’s  focus  area  is  Media  &  Entertainment  Laws,  Company  FormaNon  and  Corporate  Advisory.  §  She  holds  the  post  of  Secretary  for  the  Entertainment,  Media  and  InformaNon  Lawyers’  AssociaNon  and  is  

on   the  Legal  CommiSee  and  Media  &  Entertainment  CommiSee  of   the   Indo  Canadian  Business  Chamber.  She  is  also  a  core  team  member  of  the  US  Indo  Investor  Forum.  

§  Her   key   interest   lies  with   represenNng   creaNve   and  entrepreneurial   clients,   guiding   them   from   the   iniNal  protecNon  of  their  eureka  moment  to  the  implementaNon  of  the  idea  and  then  policing  and  defending  it.    

THE  TEAM–  ALMITRA  CHANDRACHUD  

§  Almitra  has  done  her  Bachelor  in  Law  from  the  Government  Law  College,  Mumbai.  AVer  graduaNng  she  immediately  started  working  with  J.  Sagar  &  Associates,  Mumbai.  She  later  started  her  independent  pracNce  under  the  aegis  ACT  Legal  Nll  she  joined  the  Nomos  team  in  May  2012.  

§  Her  core  areas  of  interest  are  LiNgaNon  and  ArbitraNon.  She  also  has  experience  in  and  advises  on  corporate  transacNons  and  recovery  of  debts.  

§  Almitra’s  focus  in  recent  years  has  been  in  Media  &  Entertainment  Laws,  InformaNon  Technology  and  Mergers,  AcquisiNons  and  Joint  Ventures.    

THE  TEAM  –  JAMSHED  MISTRY    

 §  Jamshed  did  his  Bachelor  in  Commerce  and  subsequently  a  Bachelor  in  Law.  He  has  also  done  a  Diploma  in  

Labour   Laws   and   appears   in   the   Supreme   Court   and   in   various   High   Courts   all   over   India.   He   is   also   an  Associate  member  of  the  Canadian  Bar  AssociaNon.  

§  His   clients   have   included   the  Reserve  Bank  of   India   and   the  Brihanmumbai   Electric   Supply   and  Transport  Undertaking.   He   has   had   vast   experience   in   dealing  with   the  media   and   entertainment   industry   and   has  been  a  consultant  to  corporate  agencies  &  individual  celebriNes.    

§  He  also  works  acNvely  for  social  causes  like  the  rights  of  disabled  persons,  beach  safety,  the  Goa  AcNon  Plan,  the  sejng  up  of  disNnct  hawking  and  non-­‐hawking  zones   in  Mumbai,  SpasNcs  Society  of   India,  etc.  and  is  currently  involved  in  re-­‐working  laws  related  to  surrogacy.    

§  Jamshed  is  a  member  of  the  Legal  CommiSee  of  the  Goa  Chamber  of  Commerce  &  Industry,  JN  PeNt  Library  and  the  sub-­‐commiSee  of  the  Planning  Commission  which  is  reviewing  the  legislaNon  for  disabled  persons  in  India.  He  is  on  the  board  of  the  Indo  Canadian  Business  Chamber,  President  of  the  Entertainment  Media  &  Entertainment   Lawyers’  AssociaNon,   and  member  of   the  US   Indo   Investor   Forum  as  well   as   the  BriNsh  Business  Group.  He  is  on  the  advisory  board  of  SAFF  Canada  (South  Asian  Film  fesNval)  held  in  Vancouver,  Canada  and  Legal  Advisor  to  several  InternaNonal  Fashion  Weeks  held  in  various  ciNes  within  India.  He  was  the  legal  consultant  in  Canada  to  the  Times  of  India  Film  Awards  that  took  place  in  Vancouver  in  April  2013.  He  is  also  a  member  of  the  World  Zoroastrian  Chambers  of  Commerce.  

§  He  was  also  invited  to  assist  in  sejng  up  the  first  insNtuNonal  InternaNonal  ArbitraNon  Centre  in  India  and  is  regularly   involved   in   high   profile   Public   Interest   LiNgaNons.   He   is   an   imminent   member   of   the   Indian  Judiciary  and  the  Rotary  and  appears  as  Amicus  for  the  court  on  mulNple  occasions.

THE  TEAM  –  DIPESH  SIROYA  

§  Dipesh  did  his  Bachelor  in  Law  from  K.C.  Law  College,  Mumbai.  Prior  to  that  he  had  completed  a  Bachelor  in  Commerce  from  BJCC,  Mumbai.  Further  to  that  he  has  secured  diplomas  in  Export-­‐Import  laws  from  IITC  and  in  Cyber  Law  from  ASCL,  Pune.  

§  He  assisted  and  trained  with  N  N  Vaishnawa  &  Co,  Akshar  Laws  and  LJ  Law  Solicitors  and  Advocates.  §  He   started   his   independent   pracNce   in   2008   and   has   worked   with   solicitor   firms,   senior   counsels   and

THE  TEAM  –  VIVEK  KHEMKA

§  Vivek  finished  his  Bachelor  in  Law  from  Government  Law  College,  Mumbai  in  the  year  2000.  §  He   worked   with   the   famed  Mulla   and  Mulla   Advocates   &   Solicitors   for   two   years   before   he   started   his  

independent  professional  pracNce  in  October  2001.  §  He  has  co-­‐authored  books  on  the  Law  of  Summary  Suits  and  the  Law  related  to  Dishonour  of  Cheques.  §  His   areas  of   pracNce   include  both   liNgaNon  as  well   as   corporate   advisory  on  maSers   relaNng   to  Property
