    condons n Gap supper facory run by he

    Ha-Meem Group n Bangadeshwhere ogeherGap and Od Navy accoun for 70% of producon

    (Boyer 2014). The 3,750-worker Nex Coecons

    facory n Ashua, Bangadesh, on he ouskrs

    of Dhaka, rouney forced workers no 14-17

    hour shts, seven days a week amounng o

    workweeks of over 100 hours. Workers were pad

    povery eve wages: jus USD .20 - .24 per hour.

    standards for all of the actorsthat impact fundamentalprinciples and rights at work.

    Transnaona Corporaons (TNCs) and her

    suppers have a duy o obey naona aws and

    ILO core abor sandards, such as he ForcedLabour Convenon, 1930 (No. 29), Prooco

    o he Forced Labour Convenon, 2014 and

    accompanyng Recommendaon, aready proec

    workers n vaue chans. However, as hs repor

    deas, changes n he modern workpace and

    gobazaon of vaue chans has opened up new

    gaps n he proecon of fundamena prncpes

    and rghs a work. In addon o carfyng he

    chans, he ILO shoud se new sandards and

    enforcemen mechansms and encourage na

    governmens o do he same.

    The ILO Trpare decaraon of prncpes
