Programme ObjectivesThe objective of WSSIIP is to enable the GWI to:1. Improve pressure, quality and continuity of

the water supply service in the program areas2. Reduce the level of Non-Revenue Water

(NRW) in the program areas3. Improve access to adequate sanitation in the

program areas4. Strengthen GWI performance in its

operational and management of water supply infrastructure

Construction, rehab., & expansion of WTPs

Construction of 3 new WTPs inclusive of

transmission mains to/from new treatment

plant sites

Non- revenue water program

One diagnosis and action plan for NRW reduction developed and implemented for each program area (including designs)

One thousand pit latrines upgraded to

efficient septic tanks.

At least three workshops held on

operation and maintenance of septic tanks.

Public Awareness campaign on

Scope of Services1. Evaluation of bids and supervision of construction of three new water treatment plants, storage tanks, transmission and distribution mains within the treatment plant areas, and rehabilitation of one surface water plant at Shelterbelt based on the respective contract documents
