Please Pray for the trustees’ board as they serve God in this ministry. Please pray that they serve God truly and faithfully this year as Kidcare Trustees with His strength, grace, provision, wisdom and guidance.

Please Pray for Kidcare's administration and management. Regular production of newsletters, prayer letters, completion of policy documents, risk assessment, budgeting, and the effective administration and management of our charity. Also Pray for financial support for our offices, publicity, fundraising venture.

Please Pray for Kidcare's future mission trips. To which countries, God to provide much needed resources and the team.

Please Pray for Sponsor a child to school program. Many of these children, attending schools through Kidcare, are not doing well and this is a great discouragement to the sponsors to continue sponsoring Unlike the UK where children who need special education are supported, these children get no support, or at least Kidcare UK is unable to provide additional funding to assist them. Pray for God to show us the way forward for these children.

Prayer Letter January 2012

Hello, Welcome to the January edition of the Kidcare Prayer Letter, the first edition to usher us into the New Year. A lot happened in 2011 for which we are very grateful and continue to thank God for. I recently volunteered to help in editing the prayer letter. I am very excited to help Kidcare in some way. I do believe God blesses all those who have put their hand to serve the poor in various ways including giving financially. “Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labour in the Lord is not in vain.” 1 Corinthians 15: 58 On behalf of the children, coordinators and trustees of Kidcare, I pray for blessings and abundance for you, your families and friends this year. Thank God for the success of the Christmas camp retreat which was organised for over 40 Kidcare sponsored children.

Thank God for Veronica Nambi whose University exam papers were found and will be graduating in January. Thank God for Joseph Mwesigwa who has been found. He is well and his adopted guardians have gone to look after him. Thank God for all the children in Uganda who managed to finish their S4 and S6 exams (equivalent to our GCSE O levels and A level. Pray that they will be successful and God will help them find new schools/ Colleges or Universities Thank God and pray for the faithful and hardworking Reverend James Bwengye who co-ordinates and looks after Kidcare’s children in Uganda as well as oversees the orphanage and the Lubya Community primary school. Thank God for the son of Rev. James Bwengye who had a beautiful wedding this month. Please continue to pray for God’s provision and blessings for the marriage.

INDIA

Thank God for as the children came from different backgrounds, some from the Hindu community, others, survivors from the persecution in Orissa two years ago, they have received Jesus Christ and their lives have been changed by God’s grace.

Please Pray for all children in Orissa Children’s Home. These children need sponsors. Please pray for God’s provision for them

Please Pray for provision for these children as they are currently in need of furniture, winter clothes, and other forms of clothing.

Please Pray for Harvest Mission English Medium School to receive Government recognition. 350 students are seeking government recognition so that they can continue their studies this year. This school is in a remote village where children are not having any other schooling, yet this school is not getting Government recognition.

Thank God for the work of Kidcare Partner Father Arnold the

Catholic Diocese of Mutare, and his work with very poor children

in the Tanda communal areas and other remote areas in Mutare.

Pray for God’s wisdom and provision of resources for him.

Please Pray for God’s continual provision for Scripture Union as they are presently facing an excessive need in funding, which is affecting the administration of the organisation and much of their work to young children.

Please Pray for Tino, their first child in the ASYM home. Please pray that he continues to settle well in his new life, that he makes the right friends in school and enjoys learning. Please pray also that he builds bonds of trust with the ASYM staff so they continue to live in love and harmony.

Please Pray for continuous provision of gifts and financial resources to fund the ASYM home and employ more staff to help in its running.

Please continue to pray for the many street children in Zimbabwe. Please pray that God will stir the hearts of people help ASYM and others change the lives of the children for the better.

PAKISTAN Please Pray for Pastor Labin and his wife Mercy that God may provide means for them to visit Pakistan to oversee their church, the Kidcare supported children and project- Mercy Sewing Program for poor girls and women the projects.

Please Pray for travelling mercies for them

Please pray that God will give them the financial means to meet the needs of others.

Please pray for God’s provision and care for his family. Pray for his brother’s family as well as his wife passed away a few months ago.
