Guard us from war, from compromise, fear, confusion. Be close to our leaders; give them vision and courage, as they ponder decisions affecting peace and the future of the world. Make this great land and all its people know clearly Your will, that they may fulfill the destiny ordained for us in the salvation of the nations, and the restoring of all things in Christ. Amen National Apostolate of Maronites Convention this week. We wish the host parish of Our Lady of Lebanon in San Francisco, a joyous gathering and we send blessings for all those attending. May the convention be successful in every way! Kindly Note: During the weeks of July 4 th through July 15 th Fr Toufic will be attending the Clergy Conference and the NAM Convention. He will therefore not be available. In the case of emergency and the need of a priest you may still phone the parish office which will remain open. It is a testament to their generous efforts. I again take this opportunity to thank all those whose labor made this event such a success in every way. The best part was that we had a lot of fun planning the festival and working together. The fruit of our labor resulted in a spectacular event with the added benefit of a profit for the church.
