Landstad Lutheran Church in Shevlin will host an Annual Turkey Dinner on Friday,
September 8 from 4:30—7:00 p.m. It is self serve with all the trimmings. Cost is Free Will Offering.
Friday, September 8 there will be a Gathering for Suicide Loss Survivors at the Rotary Pavilion by Paul & Babe from 7-8:00 p.m. There will be a Candle Lighting and Rock & Feather Ceremony.
Saturday, September 9 will be the 11th Annual Run, Walk, Skate for Suicide
Prevention at the Sanford Event Center. Registration starts at 8am, the program at 8:30 and the run, walk, skate at 9:30. Registration is $20 if before 9/3 and $25 on
the same day. Collect pledges and registration fee is waived!
The Alzheimer’s Memory Loss Support Group will meet on Tuesday, September
12 from 1:00-2:30 p.m. and also 6:30-8:00 p.m. at the Neilson Center.
Heart Beat, a support group for suicide loss survivors will meet on Tuesday,
September 12 at 7:00 p.m. at Evergreen Youth and Family Services, 610 Patriot Dr.
Bemidji Christian Women will have a Fall Luncheon on Monday, September 18
at 1:00 p.m. at the Eagles Club. Meal is $11. Local Mosaic artist Virgene Tyrell will be featured. The speaker will be Floral Designer, Judy Misner of Crosslake, MN

First Lutheran Church is hosting a Financial Peace University Class on Monday nights, 6-8:00 p.m. from September 18 through November 13. Chair Discipling: Jesus’ Model for Becoming a Disciple-Maker. All are welcome to this event on Saturday, September 23 from 8:30 a.m.—12:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church. Coast is $25 for materials.
Door of Hope is holding a Women’s Conference called Beauty Instead of Ashes. It is for those who have experienced abuse in their own life or would like to understand
more about the dynamics of abuse. It is a two-day conference, Friday, September 29 (6-9) and Saturday, September 30 (9-4) held at Crossroads North Church, 3354 Laural Dr NW. Please register as seating is limited.
Trinity Lutheran (123 29th St.) is holding their 15th Annual Meatball Dinner on
Sunday, October 1 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Cost is $10 for adults, $5 for children 6-12 and free for children 5 and younger. There will also be a Silent Auction
with proceeds going to The TLC Preschool and Growing Tree Learning Center.
Northwoods Christian Women will hold their Eighth Annual Retreat on Saturday,

The 2017 Walk to Remember will be held on Saturday, October 7 at Sanford Bemidji Medical Center. Registration starts at 9:00 a.m., the walk at 10:00 a.m.. A
