Practical Steps On Soul Winning by Pastor Innocent Echeonyeaku

1. Pray for the souls you will win daily. You cannot take anything from the house of a strongman

without first binding him Mark 3:27; Matt 12:28

2. Contact Others Socially Jesus contacted the people along His way like the woman of Samaria

whom he met by the well John 4:6-7. When Jesus called Andrew, He said come ye after me, and I

will make you fishers of men Mark 1:17. You need to discover how to develop acquaintances with

the people in your world so that you can win them

3. Establish a Common Interest Jesus began the conversation by referring to something of

common interest John 4:7-8. Then He gently guided the discussion to what He really intended from

the start. To achieve this, remember to do the following a. Be patient and listen to the Holy Spirit b.

Be bold to talk Eph 6:19 c. Start by talking casually choosing a general topic that portrays what the

person seems to be about/interested in/about to do.

4. Arouse Interest In John 4:5-26, we see that Jesus conversation aroused interest in the woman

because He showed that He was genuinely interested in her concerns a. Go to where they are b. Be

genuinely interested in them c. Use your words and actions to arouse response to yourself d. If you

ask questions, try not to ask Yes or No questions as that will not engage the person in a

question. Try asking questions that will make the person speak more

. 5. Give Hope, Dont Condemn

6. Stick with the Main Issue

7. Know When to Stop

8. Always Wrap up/Close the deal: Dont leave the conversation without a reasonable conclusion:

winning the soul; but dont drag the issue forever.

9. Extend the Invitation: your discussion is not complete until you have invited the new believer to

Church and or Cell meeting.

10. Follow Up: Start this immediately afterwards a. Get contact details of the person b. Make a copy

of the information of your personal follow up of the soul c. Turn in the information to Church and

the Cell for corporate follow up d. Ensure the person comes to Church, gets involved in the cell

system and Foundation School and enlist the person for Water Baptism Acts 2:41-47

the souls are in your spirit... and is true coz i prayed i called them forth and they showed up... so you can alsocall them forth coz they are in your spirit as they are also in my spirit and i kept calling them forth.... i say itthat before the end of this year i tell you im gonna have the best, the largest, the richest, the most effectiveand the most influential cell in our ministry worldwide.
