ABOUT USIndian Institute of Technology , Jodhpur has been a pioneer institute in technical education in Rajasthan for the past few years. Starting almost a decade ago in 2008, the institute has grown leaps and bounds and in contin-uously striving fio excellence in fields of academics as well as organisation. The newly established campus has, moreover, opened up newer horizons for growth and development.
IGNUS , the annual socio-cultural festival of IIT Jodhpur, had emerged to become the largest festival in Northwest India. It is a mesmerizing feast where diverse students from all around the country come together to compete in diverse fields including both Cultural and Technical events.
IGNUS in its previous edition witnessed a footfall of around 10,000 people from all around the nation. Apart from a heavy outburst of participation from Rajasthan itself, IGNUS had witnessed a warm response from cities like Jaipur ,Delhi/ NCR, Chandigarh, Indore, Ahmedabad, Allahabad and many more. This year IGNUS’20 is anticipat-ing a minimum footfall of 15,000 students.
Being a youth festival and aiming to channel the youth of the nation towards social issues, IGNUS has initiated a social campaign - “PRAKRITI” to ensure sustainable de-velopment of the society by conducting various campaigns, competitions and exhibi-tions in various schools and colleges.
We hope for a healthy and prolonged partnership with you and aim towards cohrent working for mutual development.
