• Universal set represent rectangle & it’s subsets by circle

• Let A&B be two sets.• Then Intersection of set A×B is
denoted by A∩B and It is defined by :- Ex:- A={1,2,3} , B={2,3,4} A∩B={2,3}

Difference of Sets• The difference of two sets A&B is denoted by
A-B and it is defined by:-• A-B={x :x A but x B}∈ ∉• A={1,2,3,4} B={3,4,5,6} A-B={1,2} B-A={5,6}
