Who are the institutions involved in regional development?

The BI RDA is a non governmental, non profit, for public utility organisation that acts as an executive institution at regional level.

At this level existing a decisional institution is the BI RD Council.

At national level there is an executive institution - the Ministry of European Integration.

The decision institution is the NRDC presided by the head of the Ministry of European Integration.

Enlargement of the roads capacity (Ploiesti, Urziceni, Oltenita, Giugiu, Alexandria, Pitesti, Targoviste);

Enlargement and setting up highway for connection with paneuropene corridors IVand IX;

Reorganization and improvement of the cars traffic on main roads from and out to the Capital.

Air transport:

Development the operational capacity of the Baneasa and Henri Coanda airports;

Naval transport:

The main transport axis of the Capital on Bucuresti – Dunare – navigable chanal of Arges River, with the following benefits:

Inserting of the Capital into the 7th Trans-European transport corridor with direct relationships to Rotterdam and Constanta Harbors;

Enroll of Bucharest in the list of large capitals placed along the Rhin – Main – Dunare European navigable thoroughfare;

Remaking the landscape of the whole area based on forestry and hydro technical arrangements; Encourage the tourism and agreement development adjacent of the channel. .
