Started providing services in CO Springs in Jan. 2014
Currently established in Aurora and Loveland Family Caregiver Act- support for family
members or preferred caregiver of people with developmental disabilities
Supports- nursing, behavior, assistance w/ training, finding services and benefits available for family
Also provide host home, day program, residential and comprehensive services
It was announced that 100’s of individuals were taken off of the wait list for DVR this year.
Providers that service both CES and Comprehensive according to the Family Care Act are:
Support Inc., Goodwill, Carmel, Cheyenne Village, and Dungarvin

BBAC will be hosting a fundraising event called ‘Sip and Splatter’ on July 10-6:45-9:30 RSVP to

Resource fair discussion: Suggestion to hand out tickets to people who
attend the fair and have door prizes to get a better idea of how many people attend
Not many surveys were turned in - feedback was that the front area was congested
Next year: possibly not assigning tables alphabetically/ prior to the event - 1st come, 1st pick
Need a better system for directory and to sign up for tables
Registration and pay through the website Need more consistency with the committee
members Start planning before January Cost for tables will increase to $25 prior to
March 1st; $40 after Require people to RSVP for accommodations so
quantity of interpreters based upon actual need
Add a link on the website for Fair procedures Need to allow $ in budget for advertising
