Cheyenne Village Outreach Program 719-592-0200 Provide respite through donations from individuals for individuals on the wait list for TRE. They will be opening it up to SLS respite clients also. Cheyenne Village has a transition house for individuals who do not qualify for TRE where they pay $400.00 a month to live there receive homemaking and personal care services.

1. Cheyenne Village Outreach Program 719-592-0200Provide respite through donations from individuals for individuals on the wait list for TRE. They will be opening it up to SLS respite clients also. Connie Barrick also assists individuals to apply for benefits. Cheyenne Village has a transition house for individuals who do not qualify for TRE where they pay $400.00 a month to live there receive homemaking and personal care services.

2.Shawn Gliniewicz Blue Star Guide 719 964-8815Shawn is compiling a directory of services for families who have children with Autism. They are located on Facebook also. Shawn is working with District 49 to compile services in

the community. He is also adding services for other disabilities. Currently it is free to have your agency added to the directory. It will eventually cost about $1,200 a year.

3. Tamara Body Brain ConnectionsShe is a bio-energetic therapist who works with Young Living Essential Oils. She specializes in tapping therapy. She works with all age groups. Tamara charges $150.00 a session. She is cash only at this time. The sessions last from a half an hour to two hours. She encourages the individual to have another therapist and a physician.

Resource Fair

1.31 paid reserved booths as of this meeting2.March 16, 2015 cut off date for reserving a

booth3.Hannah (ARC) will send out an email to

everyone in the Resource Directory Hannah will send the Directory to Julie (District 11 transition coordinator) and she will email to the transition coordinators.

4.Stellar Care and Goodwill Industries will donate money to pay for food for the vendors that

attend the Resource Fair. (send money to Hannah at the ARC and designate for food for vendors)

5.Publicity: MaryAnne Cooper and Ann McKenzie will get together for the radio stations and tv to publicize the event. Chey will distribute flyers again this year. Our Town Radio Station may also be an option to advertise. Shawn Gliniewicz (Blue Star Guide) is the contact.

6.Marsha (TRE) will do the updates for the resource directory

7.Dungarvin will provide bags for the attendees, Ann McKenzie will also check on bags.

Announcements

1.Hannah (ARC) The ARC is accepting nominations for their annual Awards Banquet for consumers and providers in the community.

2.Amy Arbourezk Person Center Learning- They have a new Location at Foundations for Successful Living.

3.Cindy Powell (ACESO Foundation) 1 hour training in ADA Effective Communication and 1 hour training in Etiquette with People with Disabilities. Cindy handed out a training calendar to include upcoming sign language classes.
