AMERCOAT ® 91

Amercoat 91 provides excellent protection to prepared steel and concrete exposed to chemical immersion, splash, spillage and fumes. This product is used as a high perfor mance tank lining for storage tanks in the chemical and petrochemical industries. Amercoat 91 has excellent resistance to continuous and alternating service for a wide range of chemicals, solvents, caustics, crude and fuel oils, as well as neutral, alkaline and nonoxidizing salt solutions in water.

AMERCOAT ® 240

Amine epoxy coating; excellent for tank linings and edge retention

Amercoat 240 is a surface tolerant, direct-to-metal amine epoxy with excellent wetting and edge covering character-istics. Providing exceptional corrosion protection in salt and fresh water immersion and corrosive chemical environments, Amercoat 240 is applied down to 40°F (4°C) and cures down to 32°F (0°C), building up to 12 mils. Amercoat 240 is a low-VOC product with excellent adhesion to tight rust.

AMERCOAT ® 240LT

Amine epoxy for low temperature applications

Amercoat 240LT is a formula specifically designed for winter application in cold weather regions. Amercoat 240LT can be applied down to 20°F (-6°C), and it cures down to 0°F (-18°C) without additives or alternate curing agents.

AMERCOAT ® 253

Novolac epoxy tank lining

Amercoat 253 has exceptional resistance to a wide range of chemicals and solvents. This is an ideal product for oil and gas applications for its ease of use and resistance to petro chemicals, including ethanol. Amercoat 253 provides excellent resistance to crude oil and high levels of hydrogen sulfide, is easy to clean, and is available in light or contrasting colors for better visibility. This high-volume solids product does not require baking to cure and has decades of reliable and proven performance.

NOVAGUARD™ 810

A pure novolac for outstanding resistance to a wide range of chemicals, solvents and refined fuels

The NOVAGUARD 810 product is a solvent-free, single-coat, rapid-cure Novolac epoxy tank lining. Just one coat is required to provide protection for storage tanks holding

Featured Tank Linings

Featured Tank Linings

crude oil, aliphatic petroleum products, gasoline blends (E5 max), biodiesel (B5–B100), solvents and some select chemicals. Crude oil can be stored up to 194ºF (90ºC) with this tank lining. This solvent-free product minimizes application hazards, and is ideally suited for the lining of new tanks and the reliable refurbishment of old tanks. In addition, the smooth, light-colored finish enables easier cleaning and inspection.

NOVAGUARD™ 840

Solvent-free novolac epoxy tank lining for petrochemical storage

The unique NOVAGUARD 840 tank lining combines the superior chemical resistance of novolac epoxy chemistry with the advantages provided by solvent-free products. Its wide chemical resistance permits the storage of crude oil up to a maximum temperature of 248°F (120°C), petro-chemicals, solvents and refined fuels. The NOVAGUARD 840 coating can be applied as a one or two-coat system with a total dry-film thickness as low as 300 microns (12 mils) per coat. Application is direct to steel or over an approved primer and generally by heavy-duty, single-feed airless equipment. Roller application can be used for stripe coating. The coating is versatile and may be reinforced with chopped glass fiber or glass mat, to repair pitted tank bottoms during major refur bishment of aged tanks.

NOVAGUARD™ 890

Solvent-free novolac epoxy tank and pipeline coating for biofuels

The NOVAGUARD 890 coating has been specially developed to provide optimal resistance to new, aggressive fuel mix-tures, such as biodiesel (B5 to higher grades) and gasoline/ethanol blends – ranging from 5% ethanol (E5) to 100% ethanol (E100). Its broad chemical resistance permits the storage of 100% ethanol and crude oil up to a maximum temperature of 248°F (120°C), as well as a wide range of petrochemicals and solvents. The NOVAGUARD 890 coating is easily sprayed by heavy-duty, single-feed airless equipment as a one-coat system applied directly to blast-cleaned steel or over an approved holding primer. This versatile coating can be used in new construction or may be reinforced with chopped glass fiber or glass mat, to repair pitted tank bottoms during major refurbishment.
