Accurate, Energy Efficient BendingAUTOMATIC CROWNING SYSTEMStandard on PPEC-5 and PPEC-7 models is the Automatic

V-axis CNC crowning system that ensures parallel bending

every time with automatic adjustment according to material

thickness and tonnage.

HYDRAULIC CLAMPINGAn option on all PPEC Series machines with vertical and

U.S. clamping, hydraulic quick-clamping helps reduce tool

setup and changeover time, increasing bending

throughput.

Z1-Z2 AXESAdding the option of Z1-Z2 axes simplifies multiple

station and off-center bending and increases the

flexibility of the PPEC.

FRONT SHEET SUPPORTSOptional sheet supports simplify the bending of large,

heavy or oversized workpieces.

LAZER SAFELazer Safe is a patented laser sensor system that

provides maximum protection for the operator while

keeping production levels high. The Lazer Safe unit is an

optional feature, fully integrated with the TOUCH-B control.

PRECISE GAUGINGA solidly-constructed ‘A’ profi le rigid two-axis backgauge

allows depth (X-axis) and height (R-axis) positioning of the

two standard backgauge fi ngers. PPEC-6 and PPEC-7 models

offer the additional fl exibility of Z1 and Z2 automatic left to

right positioning of backgauge fi ngers.

The standard PPEC backgauge fi ngers allow gauging to 39.4”

(1000 mm) and also serve as material supports. PPEC-4 and

PPEC-5 models can be equipped with an additional third fi nger

support, ideally suited to the bending of channels.

Software IntegrationLVD’s database-driven CADMAN® Suite software integrates

sheet metalworking processes, production control,

communication and management. It provides users real-

time data to make informed choices, enabling optimized

programming and maximized throughput in the workshop.

CADMAN-JOBCADMAN-JOB connects the front office intakes and

processing of orders with the shop floor operations. The

software creates or imports production orders from an

ERP system allowing users to generate production jobs for

bending.

CADMAN-BAfter importing a 3D CAD part, CADMAN-B automatically

defines inclined, parallel and multi-bends, as well as

hemming and preliminary bends. The module can visualize

the complete bend process with start to finish collision

detection, gauge positions and tool setups.

TOUCH-i4TOUCH-i4 is an industrial strength Windows®-based tablet

that provides an overview of the entire fabrication workshop.

It collects real-time information from your LVD machine(s)

powered by the centralized CADMAN database.
