Try asking around and you will find out that a lot of Filipinos are tired of being in the Philippines and if it doesn’t hurt so bad – are tired of being Filipinos. Halos isuka na ang bansa natin. Bakit kaya? Is it because of the rotten government? The annoying traffic jam and the equally irritating lack of discipline of our fellow Filipinos? The filthy environment? Lack of employment? Underemployment? The jobless neighbors? The rumor mongers? The crowded classroom of the children? Mga nagdagsaang kriminal? Or revolutions that have led to nothing…that have not changed anything…that have not transformed into the government that we want?

Why is it that when you get out of the country (not everybody though), feeling mo eh you’re a totally new person?

I have nothing against you, Kabayan. I’m 100% that if given the chance, I would have the same feeling and line of thinking.
