Question. Tender was invited from interested and eligible tenderers to submit a tender for the following project: ‘Construction and completion of a five storey car park building and other related ancillary works at Taylors Lakeside University, Subang Jaya, Selangor.’ Tender No. : TLU/T/B/6/2015. The other details/information of the above tender is given below: 1. Employer: Taylors Lakeside University. 2. Closing date of tender: 8/05/2015. 3. Validity period of tender: 60 days. 4. Number of tenders received: Six (6). 5. Q.S.Consultant estimate: RM 85.00 million. 6. Employer’s preferred construction period: 24 months. The relevant information that has been abstracted from the tender documents submitted by the six tenderers is shown in Appendix A. Your consulting quantity surveying firm has been appointed by the Employer to carry out a detail evaluation of the tenders received and to present your recommendation to the Employer for their consideration. You are required to prepare the ‘Tender Evaluation and Recommendation Report’ based on the information provided above. In an event there is insufficient information to arrive at a recommendation; you are to allow for the necessary assumptions which are to be listed in your report.

The report shall be prepared in a format you deemed appropriate. However a suggested format is enclosed for your reference and guidance.
