Google Maps Google Maps are a web based mapping application
Google not only provides a map but directional assistance
Different methods of using Google Maps include:
Web – https://maps.google.com/
Smart Phone via the Google Maps App
Why Google Maps? Google Maps offer a variety of informative options:
Street maps and directions
Route planner for traveling by foot, car, bike
Google Maps also offer satellite images and street view – these are not updated in real time but are taken in the past and available for viewing

Google Maps – The Look
Google Maps – How To? First click on the “Get Directions” Button
Google Maps – How To? Enter in your two destination points – A is usually the
starting point while B is your destination
Don’t worry though if you mix it up the little arrows at the right side of your two points allow you to “Reverse Directions”
Google Maps – How To? Once you enter in your start and finish you have two
options – click get directions OR choose your method of transportation
Car, Bus, Walking or Bike
Google Maps – Not Quite Done! Now that we have our directions you may think that we
are done – but Google has several useful options that can be utilized once we reach this point
Google Maps – Street View Click and hold on the yellow man and drag him to any
portion of the map that is highlighted in blue to see an image of what that street looks like

Google Maps – Traffic? Google Maps also has a feature that allows you to view
the traffic on your route – simply click on the right hand side
Green will let you know traffic is moving well while red will let you know traffic is heavy
Google Maps – Print & Link Your route can also be printed or viewed as a link to
display on a webpage or email
