Hold an honorary appointment in the Florey Department of Neuroscience

and Mental Health of the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences

as of 1 January 2019 and which is held for the duration of the award.

future funding and improve your

track record by leading to

publication(s) and other outputs.

• Show the relationship between the ECR Grant and your future research ambitions

• Mention if you are using this grant to form the basis of a project proposal which you intend to submit to another funding body (e.g. ARC, NHMRC, SIEF)

• Seek diverse funding sources

• Seek high quality, appropriate publishers or journals

• Indicate if you intend to present your work at national/international forums

• Indicate if the project will lead to collaborations or research training opportunities.

• Within the Discovery Program, can apply/hold 1 project in addition to the DECRA

• DECRA Applicant can only apply for 2 DECRAs over the period in which they are eligible, 1 per round

• A DECRA Recipient cannot apply for a subsequent DECRA
