WORKING GROUP
19 Members – appointed by NRZs + City
Responsible for overall implementation of waterfront pathway, including setting direction, selecting pilots, overseeing pathway funding and marketing. The board shall meet monthly and meetings shall be public. This is a working board with each member assigned tasks as part of the overall workplan and committed to serving on at least one Working Group and attending all meetings.

Note: The Planning Department will support the Board in the near term with administration assistance such as scheduling, posting meeting notices, etc.
Four Groups with unlimited members – self appointed
Responsible for concentrated work in four areas. The Working Group members commit to attending regular meetings and completing tasks assigned by the group to move the pathways forward to implementation. At least one Advisory Board member will be a part of each Working Group and will be the liaison(s) back to the Board.

Responsible for offering assistance to the Advisory Board and Working Groups to provide support in specialized areas of the pathway implementation work including: Use of private and public land for public pathways: Fundraising and grant writing to support implementation of public pathway initiatives; Reclamation of underutilized and brownfield properties for public use; Volunteer organization and deployment for public projects; Programming of activities and public events; Marketing, branding, advertising; Liability, legal, and ownership concerns regarding use of public and private land for activities and public enjoyment.
