RUNWAY 9R-27L RUNWAY STATUS LIGHTS

Installation of approximately 10,000 linear feet of electrical ductbank, handholes, and airfield lighting cable to complete the installation of the FAA Runway Status Lights (RWSL) system for Runway 9R-27L. A FAA-RWSL shelter to be located adjacent to the existing Runway 27L ALSF shelter will also be installed. A new Com Ed service feed as well as fiber optic cable connectivity to the air traffic control tower will be required to make the RWSL shelter fully functional.

Site preparation and paving for the two story 260,000 SF concourse extension from Gates M19 through M27. Work also includes relocation of existing Guard Post 11, a new trituratorbuilding, and new storm sewer piping to the south basin.
