Cornhill Consultancy was founded in 2008 byCaroline Cooke.

Before founding Cornhill, Caroline worked for KornFerry International in their European FinancialServices division. She was then tasked to set up andrun the internal recruitment division.Subsequently, she ran the UK internal recruitmentfor Greatfleet Plc, thus gaining contingentrecruitment exposure.

When heading these firms’ internal recruitmentfunctions, Caroline dealt with Rec-2-Rec agencieson a daily basis. She identified a general lack ofquality in their service. So, in May 2008, she startedher own Rec-2-Rec and Search-2-Search firm.

Cornhill Consultancy differentiates itself from otherRec-2-Recs by headhunting excellent candidatesand providing a professional search-like service forclients, as well as candidates.

10 years on, Cornhill Consultancy takes pride incontinuing to adhere to these high standards. Thisensures that they remain a trusted partner for thetop executive search firms.

Cornhill Consultancy started in the banking sector.However, the firm moves with the markets andfocuses on sectors where there is high demand.Most recently they have been gaining an increasingamount of exposure in the Legal, Fintech andQuantitative sectors.

Cornhill Consultancy recognises its organisationalstrengths and will remain in its proven boutiquestyle.

They will continue as a headhunting and referralonly firm and ensure each of its candidates aremet. This leads to a higher quality, as well as ahigher placement success rate.

The 2018 company target is £300,000. Thecompany will achieve this by continuing tostreamline and elevate their client base to workwith only the very top executive search firms, aswell as continuing to headhunt the top recruiters intheir markets.

Our Team

Caroline Cooke - Managing Director

Curren Dhillon - Recruitment Assistant

Caroline is an ex Banking search professional with a high level of industry knowledge. With past employers such as Korn Ferry, Sheffield Haworth, Boyden and Leader Financial Search, she has covered all of the Banking markets from Asian Equities in London and Hong Kong to Fixed Income and Derivatives.

Caroline also set up and ran Internal Recruitment functions before setting up Cornhill Consultancy in 2008.

Caroline has a degree in French and is a qualified Personal Trainer. She comes from Cornwall and in her spare time loves going to the gym. She has taken part in several sporting events for charity including cycling 300km across Cambodia for the International Childcare Trust.

Curren attended Slough Grammar School until 2007 and holds a degree in Diagnostic Radiography.

Curren joined Cornhill Consultancy in summer 2017, having previously worked in recruitment in the social care, medical and finance sectors since 2012. Curren brings with her a wealth of industry experience and commercial awareness, having worked both in the Czech Republic and the United Kingdom.

Curren is an avid swimmer and loves fashion, travel and culture. On top of her bucket list is to physically step foot in South America and Australia.
