SDSU Impaction• All majors at SDSU are impacted, therefore SDSU admits by

major with slightly different Eligibility Indexes for different majors. The average SAT/ACT EI was over 4300/1050

• These Eligibility Indexes vary each year based on the applicant pool and are not released to students

Financial Resources and Scholarship Information

• All applicants are encouraged to file a FAFSA or CA Dream Act application beginning October 1

• Once students apply to SDSU, they may begin to apply for scholarships through http://www.sdsu.edu/scholarshipsearch. Students should not wait until they are admitted, as many scholarships have a February 9, 2018 deadline

• In addition to scholarships for local San Diego students, SDSU has regional alumni councils that support scholarships for students from the Bay Area, Los Angeles, and Orange County, which can be found at the link above

• November is the last testing month from which SDSU will accept SAT/ACT scores

• Students only submit transcripts once accepted and committing to SDSU

• Transfer students MUST complete the SDSU Supplemental Application to be eligible for admission
