1. Christmas around the world Paula Prez 4t D 2. We all know that christmas is different in each country... but how do they celebrate it? Now, we are going to discover it... 3. JAPAN In Japan, the 25th of December isn't very important. In fact, it isn't holiday yet, because the important day is the 1st of January. On New Years' day, the japanese streets are completely decorated. They normally have a christmas tree too, but it's also typical to eat on the KFC! (Yes, this fast food restaurants) This days, like everywhere, it's time to spend, and all the shops are always full of people. 4. Isn't lovely a date on the 1st of January? It's very typical! They give away a christmas cake to someone special 5. ENGLAND British people celebrate so much the christmas day, and we all know it: the stocking on the chimney, the carols, the postcards, the super- decorated christmas tree... and guess what? All proceeds from England! We have adapted this costumes to our ones, but they have other traditions: - Crackers - Boxing day 6. They are cylinders full of little presents Boxing Day On this day, people make some donations to poor peopleCrackers 7. GERMANY In Germany, Christmas starts on the 1st of December. Since this day, we can see everyday a lot of markets, full with christmas decorations and food. The 24th of December, they normally give to each other a plate with fruits and sweets.
