• Clothes The fashion of 1990 was casual and what they want to

do with it was express their individuality. 90's fashion was based on the variety and not in a specific trend and durable.

• Hairstyle The girls wore short hair and usually brown but

someone wore blond hair. Some guys had zig zags in hair based on rappers hairstyle but others had tupe.

Films• Independence Day Independence Day is a 1996 science fiction film about an

alien invasion of Earth. Human population, participate in a last-chance counterattack on July 4. It was directed by Roland Emmerich, who co-wrote the script with producer Dean Devlin.

• Die Hard 2 Die Hard 2 is a 1990 action film and the second in the Die

Hard film series. The film was directed by Renny Harlin, and stars Bruce Willis as John McClane. As with the first film, the action in Die Hard 2 takes place on Christmas Eve. McClane is waiting for his wife to land at Washington Dulles International Airport when terrorists take over the air traffic control system.

• NIRVANA Nirvana was an American rock band that was formed by

singer/guitarist Kurt Cobain and bassist Krist Novoselic in Aberdeen, Washington in 1987. Nirvana went through a succession of drummers, the longest-lasting being Dave Grohl, who joined the band in 1990.

• NICKELBACK Nickelback is a Canadian rock band from Hanna,

Alberta. Since 1995 the band has included guitarist and lead vocalist Chad Kroeger, guitarist and back-up vocalist Ryan Peake and bassist Mike Kroeger. The band's current drummer and percussionist is Daniel Adair who has been with the band since 2005.

• El Canto del Loco  Is a Spanish pop rock band, although its members

recognize that some of their songs are more in the style of power pop. The group was created in 1994 by Dani Martín and Ivan Ganchegui (who left the group in 2002) although the final five members would not come together until years later. The name of the band comes from the song El Canto del Gallo by Radio Futura.

• Other groups In the 90’s Shakira wrote Magia, Miguel Bosé Los

chicos no lloran and Julio Iglesias Starry Night.

Important Events

• Dolly (sheep) Dolly (5 July 1996 – 14 February 2003) was a female domestic sheep, and the first

mammal to be cloned from an adult somatic cell, using the process of nuclear transfer. She was cloned by Ian Wilmut, Keith Campbell and colleagues at the Roslin Institute near Edinburgh in Scotland. She was born on 5 July 1996 and she lived until the age of six; unfortunately she suffered from a progressive lung disease. She has been called "the world's most famous sheep“. The cell used as the donor for the cloning of Dolly was taken from a mammary gland, and the production of a healthy clone therefore proved that a cell taken from a specific part of the body could recreate a whole individual.

• Leaning Tower of Pisa It was built to remain in an upright position but began to tilt as soon as construction

began in August 1173.The Italian government asked for help on February 27, 1964 to prevent its collapse, and January 7, 1990 was closed to the publics a safety measure.
