SPC+ features Power Monitoring so you can ensure you are not close to tripping your circuit breakers.Power switching used as part of our patent pending fire suppression system and UPS battery drain rate monitoring to shut down the cabinet in an emergency. Thermal map sensors wil check for cabinet hotspotsand enable you to adjust your data center to gain optimal PUE readings without exceeding environmentallimitations. Use SPC+ power meters to aid in PUE calculations.

Features

SPC+ upgrades any power strip. Simply connect power in to the SPC+ and power out to your existing strip. SPC+ adds power metering, switching, sensor ports and additional switched outlets, mounted 0U or 1U. For multiple cabinets use a single SPC+ Gateway with Remote devices, a cost effective upgrade path, monitoring all units from a single IP address.

Cost Effective SolutionWith a traditional managed PDU, each device has it’s own controller and IP address. This increases the cost per unit, and the network managment overhead. By removing the meters and relays from the main power strip to a seperate 1U or 0U space, it allows for a greater number of outlets to be placed on the power strip. Our patent pending design allows the SPC+ Gateway to be removed. In case of failure or loss of communication the remote units will continue to operate independently.

SPC+ Hot-Swap Gateway (Optional)SPC+ can be installed with a 1U Gateway hotswap controller to take full advantage of our patent pending bootsequence technology. With this setup the main controller can be removed without any effect on your cabinets power. Should the controller need replacing it can be removed leaving remote SPC+ inline units undisturbed. Remote units will continue to function as normal due to our patent pending distributed boot sequence technology.Remote devices will continue to log total active power, boot sequences still function and your cabinets are protected by our patent pending fire suppression system.
